With all those fouls he draws, and the signing of Kolarov, I think we'll be getting more goals than Chelsea did. An interesting season ahead for us fella's/ess'.

I'm still not believing this, what about you?

Welcome Mario..Pretty happy with this signing....Mancini has coached this kid and brought him through the ranks from when he was 16.
Got speed, skill and a cracking shot..Gets a fair few assists as well.......Thumbs up for me.

Love the opening animation.

However, not too keen on the 2nd line on the homepage:

"I would have preferred to continue my professional career in my home country."

PR Company - FAIL!

You are forgetting all the crap he's had about not being a real Italian, that is absolutely what he should be saying in this situation, he has to think about the national fans as well as just us.

Incredible transfer.
I heard that City transfers Balotelli and try to transfer Ibra in the last moment only because they play with Poli Timisoara in Europa League. :))
Hope u understand the romanian sarcasm when we get in trouble :)).

Come again? I was explaining why he would want to say something about playing in his home country (Italy)

Strikes me as an Italian version of Danny Sturridge ..... but a bit better! He's definately got the ability .... I just hope Bobby Manc can handle him.

It wouldn't surprise me if we bedded him him in slowly. 15 games or so thi seson in Cups with a few 30 mins stints in some Premier games, then 25 games or so next season ...... then unleash him the season after next as our main striker.

I hope it all works out. If it doesn't, at least we are in a position where we can afford to take a few chances and make a few mistakes.

Was wondering myself how Mancini will work it with Mario. He'll probably only know himself when he sees him train with the other players. If it clicks quickly he may play him from the start v thuggerpool but my guess would be impact sub & then starts v some poor 'lambs to the slaughter' type outfit. Robinho is the other factor; whether he puts in a challenge for the left side spot or just wants to go home. Otherwise he may play Mario on the left.

It would not surprise me if he doesn't start for a while yet and Mancini sees him as one to work on for the future. We may not see him start regularly for another year or so yet, dependant on how the likes of Adebayor start the season.

I just ope that Bobby Manc is around long enough to develop him. We have to win something this year ...... for Bobby's sake.

exactly the same. Over the time, I suppose, I sold the idea to myself. His talent was never in question. Perhaps the biggest youth talent in football right now, I don't think you'll find many people (apart from rags of course) arguing against that. Absolute head case but maybe move elsewhere was what he needed and now he has his mentor looking after him again.

Robinho, Tevez, Silva and now Mario.....four of the most exciting signings for me. Massive buzz that we could bring all four in.

Cant wait to tilt some silver.

Are we ruining football, or upsetting the status quo?

Definitetly ruining football I'm afraid, I read it in The Sun.
