Not sure whether Joe Hart went straight out on loan to Birmingham or not.

No, he played a bit under Sven, close to a full season.
But again, this doesn't makes sense if we are going to loan him out. It's similar to buy Ansu Fati or another wonderkid from Barcelona or someone from Real and loan him out.
I think he will be here to stay, so getting Haaland is over, IMHO,

Jesus came straught in. Whats happening with kayky?
Kayky has been on the bench a few times but not had any game time.
Thinks he's bagged a few in the EDS though
Pretty sure he got 2 minutes at Swindon. Not certain though legless by that time

No way we paid the full transfer fee with the add one, he never played for us!
Wouldn’t surprise me if we weren’t far short of breaking even with all the loan fees we will have made over the years. But he will go down as simply one that didn’t work out and there’ll be no hard feelings
Wish I had a tenner for every "give Roberts a chance " post.
As usual

A couple of weeks ago, before we knew of any interest between Alvarez and City, I listened to an interview discussing him and his chances of playing European or even \English football.
The conclusion seemed to be that Alvarez had it all and was the real deal. However the caviat was that he was young and a move was probably a bit too early. The fear being that he needed to acclimatise top the speed and physicality of English and European football.
I think the same possibly with Kayky. A period of acclimatisation before coming used to the speed and physicality allowing them to flourish

Interesting John, it prompted me to look around other articles.
This one when it was thought he Italy bound seems to echo the interview you mentioned

Thanks for that mate.
Maybe that is what put City to the fore. The fact that we are a long term club that can nurse him and bring him through until he is ready to compete in the Prem.
The likes of the rags etc are desperate to catch City to keep in the media and nurse their global image.
Citycan afford to be patient and at this time, the next generation seems ready, waiting and some ready to push the current 1st team squad.
The future seems definately bue

Talk of Liarpool sniffing around McAtee. If we lose him to them I’ll be extremely disappointed and disgusted.

The kid is ordsall but his granddad played for st helens so bit of a mixed bag there. If we think he is worth it, we will keep him. Like what very little I've seen of him so here's hoping he gets a run-out for fulham game

Vlahovic going to Juve apparently. Looks like it’s Haaland or nothing. Especially if this Argie kid is coming then going.

I think we will end up with Alvarez and someone like Felix.
Haaland is not coming, can't see it happening.
PS: I would take Suarez until the end of the season. Just to piss off a certain lot of fans.

I can’t too. Just hope we don’t waste £100+m going after Kane again.

I'm the opposite, I can't see Haaland going anywhere else.
And if we were willing to spunk all that money on Kane, I can't see any financial obstacles.
Were we do agree is on Kane, bullet dodged in my opinion, even if his mum is a blue.

I think Spafia and Pep can't forget their issues with Raiola and that will end it. The fucker will annoy them somehow and we will not go on a bidding war, also, I can't remember we've won any (thinking of Hazard back in 2012).
As fucked as it sounds, I think is more likely we get Kane rather than Haaland.

MANCHESTER CITY legend Shaun Goater claims the champions are ‘so close’ to signing Norwegian hotshot Erling Haaland.
The former Bermuda international, 51, has been back working as a youth coach at his old club since the autumn.
He is also an ex-City team-mate of Haaland’s dad, Alf-Inge - and the pair spent over three years together at Maine Road.
Pep Guardiola has Haaland Jr on his summer shopping list – although Real Madrid are currently believed to be in pole position to sign him.
However, Goater was asked on social media if he could help get the Borussia Dortmund striker to the Etihad.
And he replied on Twitter: “We are so close. I’m doing my best.”

Looks like Alvarez is a done deal.
Seen some pictures he was an Aguero fan boy as a kid.
What can I say, he has good taste.

Maybe Sergio undertook his first task in his new non player role for City? (Wishful thinking)
Also Pep being a native Spanish speaker would be important to the young lad. I know Pep wants players to speak English in training but, being able to express himself to Pep and the other staff would be a big draw surely? I doubt klipperty or raggy Ralph speak Spanish nor Inzaghi come to that.
