However, despite our apparently relegation form away from home and dodgy defence and no back up for Aguero, we're only 3 points off Arsenal who have the "best player in the league". So imagine what'll happen if we actually hit form for the run in. Bring it on

Don't worry about the legends poll this time boys, just slide it my way.
You're not even a decent armchair fan!

I only get an hour break and I'd already skived for about 80 minutes, I couldn't take the piss any further. My missus is the boss. Hell hath no Fury and all that.
I did hide in the toilet and watch injury time on my phone though.

I kept hearing how their front two caused us all sorts of problems and to a point they did because they are damnes awkward physical player, but how many actual chances did they have? I have a bad memory but can only think of 1 clear chance which Joe saved brilliantly. We didn't look that secure defensively but they really didn't have that many chances.
We had more I think ( Sterling over the top,Dinho's header, Yaya over the top and there was the pen not given on Dinho) but generally we were messing up too much in the last 3rd and giving the ball away far too cheaply and far too often.
What a great 3 points though.

I can't blame him because our defence is capable of receiving a goal from corner. All and all, a huge win after a bad game.

There were a few other chances early on as I recall, including a shot just over the bar in the first minute, but also the one at the end where Ighalo didn't catch it correctly that made my heart almost stop.
Surely some players will get a rest (I hope). We have a big squad for a reason, but our struggles keeping enough players fit has really stretched it to its limits, and I agree you are seeing the effects more so now, especially as we are still in all 4 competitions.

Look pal, do you think it's a a fucking surprise everyone wants you out of this forum when you keep putting in these sly digs at our club/players?
What was the the need for the bloody capitals for Sterling's performance there? Just last week he was our biggest threat in the 1st half but then faded away in the 2nd. The week before he got us the opener v Saints.. but no. apparently he was shit again.
He has also had a decent season including getting in the CL XI of the opening stages... But no, let's ignore that. Yep. Shit AGAIN...
...you know what you fucking cunt?
Your team lost AGAIN in the last round of bundesliga against fucking koln. Now go fuck yourself and fuck off from this forum. That is my only wish for 2016.

Slight case of mistaken identity here, methinks.

The league cup is our best chance of a trophy this season right now. We need to be very careful in how many/which players we rest for this game. I agree with the poster that said Silva and Aguero need game time. Navas should get a start maybe one of delph or Fernando but not both as they are returning from injury. Otamendi and mangala need to have more game time to try and further forge a better partnership and only bring in one of zabba or clichy.

One decent cross out of 180 minutes of footy. Well done Alex.
TBF He is usually excellent when crossing.

He put one in just before Sagna's for Serg's goal that was fantastic with no one even trying to get on the end of it - as someone has mentioned previously in this thread.
