Marca - “The Etihad is a boiler that has nothing to envy to that of its Old Trafford neighbours. The difference is that all their lives they lost and now they win.

The atmosphere was possibly the harshest Madrid had encountered in many years. A complete trap.“

Akanji has to start in the final. Ake has been great for the second half of this season, but after last night Akanji deserves it.

So many players to heap praise onto but I need to point out Akanji who has been an incredible signing , probably pound for pound one of the best and cheapest purchases we have ever made...I was very wrong about him in the beginning but his performances have been nearly faultless and hes a starter for me in every match.

Has everyone enjoyed breezing through the tabloids and you tubes this morning whilst sipping your coffees ))))

My family ( Rags ) are in absolute meltdown.....they just cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel for getting anywhere near us , now or in the future.

Its fuckign great isn't it !!
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

An uncomfortable watch, there are a lots of other examples of unwelcome cordiality by City heroes in our eyes but we just don't know the full picture - nobody ever does - and if not

Didn’t see it mentioned on here about Kev telling Pep to “shut up”.

I did notice it during the game. Didn't see a problem with it, even Pep sometimes gets a bit stressed out. In my team , our goalie and "coach" goes a bit OTT during games, we still have a beer afterwards . Game ends , so too the bitching.

I don’t think there’s a problem doing it with your peers to a certain extent. Telling the manager of the team to shut up is a bit of an issue. The main reason he should never wear the captains armband.

No mole hill. “A bit of an issue” was what I put to be exact.

Seems they sorted it straight after the game.

Not sure if anyone has seen the quote from Thierry Henry but he says something like “i have so much respect for him (Kev) but after what he told me after the game I have even more respect for him”
There is a video of them talking together for a few minutes then having a long embrace.
Not sure what was wrong but a rumour I heard was that his gran had passed away just before the game.

When Kev made that run he only had jack (pbuh) alongside. Gundo was sauntering around behind. Watching on TV it looked like Kev was rebuking ilkay for not keeping up with play.
