Joleon Lescott's transfer: 24 million pounds

compensation from FA: 10 million pounds

point deducted from Man City: one

The feeling for being a double-dealing, backstabbing cunt: Priceless.

For all the rest there's, David Moyes and Mastercard, of course.

If it is proved that we have been reported for tapping up, we should pull Jo back on the last day of the window, and leave them fucked

He's not an improvement on Dunne? Great signing imo. Fuck the price, is it our money???

if it's true then that's the measure we should use. Is he improvement on Dunne who is our other starting centreback right now? Big, big improvement I'd say and weakest link in the team improved. Then yeah, he is well worth what pocket change Sheik (bless him) is willing to throw his way.

Final piece in the puzzle for this coming season and if manager is worth anything we should compete for Champions League spot imo.

No, but he's on his way. Moyes has conceded defeat.

Several papers are reporting that Moyes is going to the FA though about the way we got the player and if we get found guilty we could be fined or in an extreme ruling be docked points for the way we conducted business. I don't think 3 bids is a terrible way to conduct business personally and I don't think he has a leg to stand on. Especially considering they were the ones who released that we made a bid not us.

Moyes is just a sad fustrated man, he's pissed off that we've snatched a top player from him and he was powerless to stop it no matter how hard he tried. Get over it Moyes and move on, albeit with a depleted squad. I'm a Burnley fan for today!

Everton should have points docked for making it public and therefore making the player aware! Should they actually get any points that is.

I would definitely have preferred a 1 nil win over Everton than Barca.

Lescott in the next 24 hours is looking good but I am still being patient.

Everton have admitted defeat in their attempts to stop defender Joleon Lescott from leaving Goodison Park for Manchester City, manager David Moyes was quoted as saying on Sunday.

The Premier League club have rejected a formal transfer request from the England defender and have also turned down two bids from City for him, with Moyes saying Lescott’s attitude over his desire to leave had damaged team spirit.

“The situation means we have to sell him,” Moyes told The People newspaper. “That’s been the main reason. It has jeopardised team spirit—you saw how we were against Arsenal.

Moyes said he had been forced to play Lescott in last weekend’s season-opening 6-1 defeat by Arsenal, even though the player had told him the day before the game he did not want to play.

Moyes has since left Lescott out of the squad for last Thursday’s Europa League victory over Sigma Olomouc and for Sunday’s trip to Burnley in the Premier League.

“It’s been difficult because Joleon’s attitude has been so poor. We’d rather have him playing but if a player is going to behave in the manner he did, we had not choice but to keep him away,” said Moyes.

Can we not call it £50m and chuck Arteta is as well. Everton are so poor without him, he's just what we need - one of the best midfielders in the league.
