Look we can't be sentimental about letting a good but not great player go somewhere else where he can flourish.

Good luck to him at Spurs. Hope he opens a can of whoopass on the Arse twice a year.

Cheers

Just seen us linked with Pepe. Quite relieved actually, it doesn't feel like transfer time if we're not linked to Mr Angry.

£35m Arsenal, Man City and rags target to hold talks over future in next two weeks
EX-CHELSEA playmaker Kevin De Bruyne is set for crunch talks with Wolfsburg in the next two weeks.

The Belgian whizz is reportedly a target for Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United after a stunning season in Germany.

De Bruyne, 23, racked up 21 assists - a Bundesliga record - and interested teams would have to fork out at least £35m for his services.

He is set to be offered fresh terms by Wolfsburg and his future will be decided when he meets with sporting director Klaus Allofs within a fortnight.

“Klaus says he will be making a proposal. We will wait to hear that before we consider other options.”

But he is wary of walking out on Wolfsburg after they rescued him from his Stamford Bridge nightmare in January 2014.

De Bruyne's agent Patrick De Koster said: "We are aware of the interest from other clubs. But Kevin knows how much faith Wolfsburg showed in him when Chelsea didn't.

"Klaus says he will be making a proposal. We will wait to hear that before we consider other options."

De Bruyne 35m, Sterling 50m, Pogba 70+m. Thats some money for three players who still have a lot to do. The market has gone mad.

I dont think 35m is that crazy for De Bruyne, considering what they paid for him.

I agree. Seems like a snip at that price if true.

I like how quiet it really is about city. Makes me feel we've likely got our business done a la 2010 and are letting teams spend their dosh before announcing it so that they don't get fucked in the market.

Hope it's true.

So, does anyone know much about this Chilean, Charles Aranguiz, that we are being linked with?

Fair enough.....all I wanted to know though, is 'does he track back'.

And even with the current rate for the Chilean Peso, I think that's a bit steep.

I think it's not official so he's going to say that, but he was at Yankee Stadium, wearing a Yankees hat, seeing a Yankees game where he was also seen talking to Soriano pitchside, so hard to believe it's not going to happen. The New York media are reporting he could sign within the next week.
