imo...

pep's fucked up...

he assumed barca would piss the champions league this season and he'd ride into bayern and take them to the next level

what has happened is that (his) barca side have been shown up as one man team and bayern have kicked on to another planet since he accepted the job at the end of last year

he's got one tough job

let's see what he's made of

He is far too old.

I can't believe i will give you this argument, but look at our shitty neighbours.

Heynckes still has 2-3-4 seasons left.

Better result?

A young, up-and-coming Dortmund team with little CL experience beating Real Madrid 4-3 while missing Gotze in the 2nd leg.

or

An experienced Bayern team that's now been to 3 CL finals in 4 years that has almost the German National team starting 11 that beat Barcelona with a new coach 7-0 with a hobbled Messi, new CB, and no Busquets or Alba in the 2nd leg.

Taggart has been there for 2 decades. He isn't starting at 71. By the time, Heynckes settles down, it will be retirement time. I see no point in having a manager for 2 years, if we are building a dynasty.

you might as well say:

A Dortmund team consisting of some of the most dynamic, young talent in the world who won the league last year beating Real Madrid 4-3 with ronaldo severely under performing.

or

An aging Bayern team that hasn't won the CL in over a decade that beat Barcelona (greatest team of all time) 7-0 on aggregate and 3-0 away .

The irony is that you are slating Mancini by saying that we won the league "inspite" of him but then state that we need his consistent leadership. Are you an inner or an outer?

Martinez, always moving where the ball was going to get, showed again what an excellent back up for Yaya would have been.

Ted was talking about his abilities as a centre back though wasn't he. I'm all up for calling Ted on one of his billions and billions of opinions but... I might be wrong though.

Anyway. I liked Alaba. What a playeg he was this match.

The league was won by some of our players individual brilliance. Winning it by goal difference against a shite scum side was for most parts Mancini's fault, and although he produced remarkable results at times, he failed to keep it at a consistent level. The difference this year was the absence of a similar contribution from players and Mancini's inability to lead when it mattered most.

Well even if we did win it on goal difference last season, we achieved 89 points - a feat that has only been beaten 4 times since the league was reduced to 20 teams.

How many more points does your 'consistent level' get us? 95? 100? Should we have won our first Premier League title by breaking all previous points records?

i don't understand your comparison with Bayern. Whilst , like many i dislike Bayern with a passion. Their pervasive and corrupt way of business ( eg Hoeness) . You disrespect the high skill and experience Bayern have ACROSS their team. Defenders like Lahm, Van Buyten, are equally as important to the mix as Schweinsteiger, Martinez or Ribery.

Also, the idea that Pep is the guy that brought them (Barca) ideas , is laughable!

In front of goal , shooting is an odds game. United play the odds game , they shoot at goal , sometimes misshit, sometimes it deflects for them , but they shoot . Bayern too. Barca spend too long pussy footing around in midfield, Allowing a very experienced team to get
organised and packed in around the box

What is it with football and sex-analogies or rape-analogies? THere are so many analogies out there to use instead. I'll get started.

Bayern robbed Barcelona's fort Knox.
Bayern had a party but didn't invite Barcelona.
Bayern were like jews and Barcelona like Mel Gibson's career.
Someone forgot to call Barcelona and tell them to bring their dignity.

They're all cheesy but they're much better than any adolescent rape analogy. Jeez.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
