We played well the major let down tonight has been our passing I think its been fucking shocking!

it's because we've not done much running off the ball - which is a fairly good plan i reckon.

Like I said before, we really have looked like the Wales team under Hughes.... 10 men behind the ball, everyone in positions, don't move, hope for a counter..... which worked I suppose, although f*cking boring to watch.

I suppose teams who feel inferior to big name opposition have been adopting those tactics for decades because managers feel it is an "effective" way of "getting the best out of the players at their disposal" when they have more "limited resources" than the opposition.

The alternative is to try and attack a team like Barca (with probably the best midfield in club football) and just ask the RAGs how that ends up...

this isn't a competitive fixture - the only conclusion you can actually draw from our shape etc. is that we don't want to be tired on saturday - the exact right approach.

I suppose the hot weather comes into it as well....

If they were worried about being tired on saturday the best strategy would have been not to play the game in the first place

agreed - but that's not the manager's decision. he's influencing everything he can in the right way - giving Tevez a run for fitness etc. but should be getting the saturday boys off - especially Superman.

I think we're more active, though. Right now there are 645 users on Bluemoon (435 guest), and 291 here (189 guest). I.E there are only 48 more registered users at Bluemoon at the moment.
