Said i'd be more generous in match threads but i'm sorry we were hungover, naive and toothless against a very average side. Utd deserved that victory we handed it to them on a plate
ORTEGA at fault for the goal
WALKER sttod back and watched his runner scor
STONES poor didnt offer much at all
Gvardiol average game
KDB shocking
Haaland absent
Silva very quiet
Alavarez guilty of a bad miss but livened it up front
Doku should have been on from the start

Pep guilty of wrong team selection

DISAPPOINTED

I know it’s easy in hindsight but Doku should have started that game. We changed our team to match one of the shittest teams in the league. Play our game and we win simple…..instead we worry about them….AND change BOTH centre halves. Silly

Absolutely everyone was wank today bar maybe doku who looked threatening.

Unfortunately I think there's a few players that just aren't up to it anymore, bernardo de bruyne and stones aren't what they used to be and time to get what we can for them.
The squad needs freshening up, not just based on today either.

This is true but it wasn't a case of either-or, mate.

I am very disappointed.

Yes we could but they’re not machines. The PL title was much more important and it took a huge effort to get it over the line over the last nine games. Ridiculous to forget that because of this defeat. We can look back at two penalty decisions, Haaland hitting the angle and that Alvarez miss. Ah well. Looking forward to the publication of the PL calendar on June 18 at 9am.

This is it.

And this summer Bernardo will go as well - another key player. We need to replace these properly and not fuck about, like we did last summer.

We got Nunes to come you know, you just wait, he'll tear it down next season.

Cunts now have Thursday and Sunday next season. Despite saviour Jim the club is still riddled with cancer. Their players on raised their game today to put themselves in the shop window as any decent ones want out.

And our big players not turning up in big games. KDB poor, Haaland absent apart from one shot.

There is a reason so many footballers do not make good managers

We have the best in Pep, but the team bottled it today against a really poor , mid table team

Why is it I've watched Stones at city for the same amount of years as Pep yet out of the two of us only I seem to realise Stones needs a run of 3 games to get the shit out of his system before he turns rolls royce? The fuck is he doing starting him today when he hasn't played for a couple of months?

However, if losing today keeps Ten Hag in charge, so be it. Next season , relegation fodder

Yes Stones shouldn’t have been picked ( or played more in the Keague run in) and perhaps Doku should have started but the Final unravelled after a rush of blood by Ortega. Through the whole team though the huge effort to win the League title showed. Foden KdB Bernie all looked well off their best. It wasn’t just the defenders.

Ortega is a great second keeper. SECOND keeper. Theres a reason he came from nowhere. Hasn’t let us down until today, but Ed is one of the best in the world.

Some of the shite this week about “doesn’t matter if Ed leaves” is embarrassing. We need to do all we can to keep him, if he is getting his head turned.

If we were to list every "he can fuck off in the summer" post on here we'd be starting next season with a squad of about 5...... yes it hurts to to lose to these cunts, but we cannot win every game.

If our squad entered this game with same mindset as our fans and the media then is it a surprise we lost?
