Not sure where Cheesman is going with that one, I thought the club already clarified that Mahrez, Jesus and Bernardo were going nowhere.

For me if it was just the players without the 100 mill ok but the money as well hmmm bit excessive

If we pay £100 million plus Jesus and Garcia that’s ridiculous. I’d be well against it.

It would be crazy. It's not worth anything like that.

City sign Messi. 2 years of the greatest player. You have to go for it. I like Jesus, Garcia who wants out must be thinking like poor Koeman a Barca Legend, WTF. Every president candidate of Barca has said RK can win the treble, we will thank him and sack him Xavi is our choice and will be the coach. Reading the Spanish press the term mess does not cover 1% of what is going on at Barca.

No way. If we were to send Garcia or Angelinho their way as part of a free deal to keep relationships sweet between all parties fair enough. I'd almost accept a straight-up swap between Jesus and Messi if it came to it but we should not be spending a huge fee on him.

To me a good fair deal between the two clubs would be the best option. A deal such as we give them Mendy and Garcia (if he really is that silly) and we pay no fee for Messi and pay his wages.
Anything more and fuck it, put the money into Agueros replacement.

I'd be ok with this if they'd take Mendy - doubtful. I'd be making a public bid for Mbappe or release one through a 'source' a la the red shites to show that we would look elsewhere mainly to scare the shit out of La Liga who must make a play for Mbappe

If he’s got a clause that states he can leave for free then I wouldn’t be giving Barca anything - even to keep them sweet. Fuck Barca and fuck La Liga. Set of helmets the lot of them.

90 minutes reporting that we can only afford to sign him on a free. Anything in the £100m region is a no no but I think that would be the same for any other club that's interested when you take his wage into account.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

This is my reading of the situation also.

We can afford a fee, but all our transfer kitty would have to go on Messi and his wages. No center-half, no left-back, no long-term replacement for Aguero.

The issue is whether or not that clause is still valid.

€100m + 2 players for a 33 year old is a lot more than €0 for a 34 year old. Also, if Garcia is included in the swap, we wouldn't get any money at a tribunal for him if/when he moves there (although this might only be a small amount when a player moves between associations - maybe someone else can clarify this?)

I'm sorry but some are delusional to even think we got a chance getting Mbappe, for starters politically Qataris will never sell to Emiraties due to political tension, secondly, they won't sell one of their prize assets in his prime to a rival. Thirdly he'll never force the move unless Real come calling.
Never say never in life but I can categorically say this move is never happening.

I get all the political and historic shit however sooner or later Mbappe is going to want to win the chumps league he wont do it at PSG. RM cannot currently afford him both them and Spain are financially fucked so I'm all for testing his resolve as I'd take him over Messi - both if we struck a deal...
Highly unlikely, yes, but faint heart never fucked a fair maiden..
