Disappointing second half, but it was perhaps to be expected from the inexperienced line up. Fernando just doesn't cut the mustard for me. Sadly, neither does Zabaletta any more. His energy just isn't there any more and that is a huge part of his game. The lad at centre half looks tasty. Final ball was shit but defended well. Liked M Garcia as well. Thought Barker looked direct when he came on but Chelsea had won the game by then. Was a little disappointed in Iheanacho as well if truth be told.

All in all though, against a full strength, in form Chelsea and away as well, it was encouraging. MDM must never start again for us, nor Caballero.

Well done to the kids. The senior players mostly a fucking disgrace. The goalkeeper showing why he should never play for us again.

And I take it another Chinese betting syndicate had a huge sum on a penalty being awarded.

How that was awarded was beyond me; and not even as card!

Still, ashit loss but one that was expected. The young lads actually played well at times only let down by asn ineffectual defence. Even the experienced players were either 3rd string or players getting some playing time.

How the Beeb portrayed it was disgraceful but no change there. They are officially Rag central and will do anything to have a pop, courting controversy from the slightest of things.

Anyway, fuck em. We know the craic, they'll always have their agenda.

Well done those young men who have there all.

We were OK 1st half, but our 'totally bald' goalkeeper is rubbish !

What did we expect? Did really well to get to haslf time level. Chelsea are a quality bunch who are now hitting form.

Don't underestimate their position and don't overstate our youngsters, it's just the way.

Scored a goal, more than happy.

Willy was poor, Tosin looked promising. I'm not as critical as some on here of the rest of the senior pros, as they had little cover (a bit like playing with the first eleven, I suppose).

Just the treble then.

The treble?

Thought we had just done that?
Leicester - loss
Spurs - loss
Chelsea - loss

The quadruple is on

Dead impressed with the manc lad in defence adabada something. Our new lescott, fabulous tackler and reader of the game but Christ don't let him have the ball at his feet.

The one thing that worries me about our boys. Not one of them has any pace about them.

As for the rest, Fernando did nowt, zaba tried but still not 100%. But it really needs hammering home to the people that matter that all 5 goals were directly the result of Demi, kolarov and willy. Demi tries but his legs are gone. Keep him in a senior coaching role or something. Willy has just never been good enough. Bin him and promote Angus.

Kolarov is the most frustrating for me. There is a genuine world class player inside him but he's too fucking stupid to realise it and today was the last straw for me. Stealing a living comes to mind.

Overall, forget the score, the boys did well. Many positives, some things to work on, one or two may make it with us but you know the rest will all have good careers no matter where they end up.

Kolarov and term world class? He can't fucking defend. He on his day is very good supporting attack and has a great free kick but for a left back he is so often out of position doesn't see danger or else strolls back and doesn't even challenge. Thought first 5 games of the season he played very well but he would be one of first out door for me in summer. He demichelles and Caballero let the kids down today.

Honestly don't remember ever seeing so many positives in a heavy defeat as today. None of those kids would hurt us if had to be played just a shame it's taken so long to get them introduced and had to be so many at once. Kelechi is gonna be a superstar he is already on the way

He's not good enough for us correct. Is he better than Clichy and does he offer us more than Clichy - 100% yes.

Both need replacing. I'm not sure what he offers us anymore.

I don't agree with that Mase, I think in general the team has better balance when Clichy plays.

That's fine mate, can you give examples though? I can. Look at the first five matches of this season. Kolarov offered far more during those matches than Clichy has throughout his career at City.
