Hey, we should have won this game. I'm not disputing that. But we definitely shouldn't have lost it. Neither Mancini nor Benitez made changes to go for the win. They were both happy not to lose. If you're trying to suggest it was any other way you're being disingenuous.

Mancini brought on two fresh strikers. Can you think of anything more he could have done ?

“I was not pleased with the draw at all,” he snapped.

“I am not happy because we played well and deserved to win. But in the last 20 metres we were too soft – we can’t be like that in that final third of the pitch.

“We were poor in missing the last pass, and making mistakes. If you go to Stamford Bridge and play like we did, and don’t win, you have lost two points.
“We are a strong team and Chelsea can play for the title this year because the season is long and they can recover the points they have lost.

“We dominated the first half, but we need to score when we do that. Our strikers kept missing chances, and when you are in the box and you are soft, you miss the last pass.

“I don’t know how many times we crossed and didn’t have any players in the box. This can’t happen.

“We have four good strikers, but I want them to work harder and to score when they have a chance – they are strikers, and this is what they are there for, not to defend.

“They have to defend as well, of course, but they need to put chances away. They are top strikers. Sometimes it can happen, especially when you play a team like Chelsea, but we lost two points.

“I am happy with the performance but not with what happened near their box. We are in second position, and we don’t like that.”

Oh stop whinging Mancini, we got a point at Chelsea & should all be fucking deighted, even though Utd won there, that's the standard we are setting ourselves .

Boring , very boring

Yes , the cunt should have brought them on far earlier..balotelli with 4 minutes to go..WHAT FUCKIGN FOR ? It just does my fuckign head in when he cannot see the obvious..Aguero was having a mare,as well as miss easy chances he fuckign lost the ball numerous times but still he stayed on for too long.

He could have done that but it wouldn't neccessarily have been an improvement; Mario hasn't been scoring so may have been less effective. Our top scorers were on the pitch, he replaced one with the next best option & then chucked on the wild card at the death. All was aimed at winning the game whether we agree on the personnel or not.

Tevez is no good being brought on for 20 minutes, he needs that just to warm up.

I'm not sure he's got it as a striker anymore, I think he's becoming a deep lying, attacking link man kind of thing. He's still more likely to score than Mario at this moment though.

i don't think anyone is disagreeing that aguero and dzeko didn't have their best games, I definitely agree that mario + tevez should have been brought on earlier ... but hopefully after this game, dzeko won't start over tevez again. Dzeko should be the sub coming on, certified super sub.

It was a striker for a striker Ted. Not a striker for a midfielder or an attacking mid for a def mid.
