What was going on with Rodri and the penalty? Gundo had to put him back in his box but surely Erling should have been the nominated taker.

After the unselfish play setting up Gundo twice, Haaland deserved to take the penalty.

I thought Mahrez was dreadful.
Akanji is a decent backup; nothing more which is fine. We are a lot more potent with Dias and Laporte moving the ball.Ake and Akanji together kills our rhythm. Hopefully, we should start to see a swttled defence in the prem and chumps league

Pep reckoned we were better in the second half- what is he on?

We were dreadful second half but I think it was understandable. Huge match Wednesday, at HT game relatively safe, take no risks, save yourself for Arsenal, etc... Taking Haaland & Diaz off were prep for Wednesday, I think we collectively thought job done at HT, just get it over the line now.

Great first half, their keeper pulled off two great saves to stop Grealish and Gundo bagging goals. Gundogan's goal chalked off for a foul by Haaland on the keeper was bollocks. Keeper clattered Haaland and feigned a head injury to get the free kick - a good goal in my book
Second half we eased off and a silly mistake let them in . A couple of scares knocked us out of our stride. Mahrez missed an absolute sitter , his finish was piss poor. The excuse of a last minute bobble was bollocks, a bad miss pure and simple. I also think that the Villa defender that stopped the header actually hand balled it with his arm. Granted it was down by his side but the replays show he used it to bat the ball away. On another day we could have had 6 so not a bad day but we will need to be sharper at the back against Arsenal. I'd play Alvarez and Haaland and rest Mahez. Play Ake at left back, Dias and Laporte with Walker on the right.

Anyone know how I can get sky footage of the game? Cockney mate saw me on the rodri celebration. Knew I would be but nobody has sent it to me.

Hahaha thanks for the link
So I played it last night and I'm not there. She said it was rodri celebrating and sky slowed it down.
I'm about 5 rows up but ran down the aisle and nearly ended up on rodri, so need to have another search.
