We cannot keep blaming officials for everything. Sorry, so you all think we played well enough to win?

You are professionals and have to cope with it. It happens to every team. And i am not blind to how we are seen by our hating contingent.

I still believe we can bounce back but this is not easy to take given our capabilities.

I knew it was gonna be a tough game, but 4-1?

We had a pub team goalkeeper on today.

Manager decided to start with ten men only (Aguero).

Difficult to win prem games when you give that kind of head start.

No. Let's just blame th referees and injuries

Look, if you have your entire spine injured or semi-injured and you are effectively starting the game at 2-0, it's gonna be freaking hard to win. Noone's saying that Caballero did well. But we know that this game could have and should have played out in a different manner, even with Caballero and MDM playing like they did.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

these kinds of games happen to all teams - eg barca 0-4 celta midweek - but the difference is the top teams bounce back quickly. not sure we will.

Think whoever said we had injuries and shit decisions has a fair point. The other factors are what we already knew....Caballero not good enough, Aguero wayyyyy off the pace, Kolarov again shit (I know there is a guy on here who loves him but every goal we have conceded has come from his side), even in his short cameo Navas confirmed he isn't up to. Sterling wasn't great but he is 20 and new to us. Think overall we have too many of our best players out.

We cant just blame injuries for that performance today, there was a noticeable lack of effort. It was dog shit. wtf has happened to Aguero, he looks totally disinterested, the occasional lazy strike at the ball apart. The blind bald cunt in our goal was flapping around his penalty area, like a Pigeon with a broken wing.

To be fair, once Spurs realised that it didn't matter what they did, they'd still get the call from the ref's, then they had no fear.

Agree about him looking disinterested. Seems on his heels and getting beaten to the ball by the defender all the time

The energy is gone. The passing is either under or over hit. Never mind the injuries. We had enough decent players out there to win that match. We are not clinical, and coupled with our drop off on intensity, it is costing us and affecting confidence also.

Whatever the answer, Pellers needs to get on top of it quick.

The first goal was truly a joke.

After that we fucked ourselves by playing absolute shit.

What wonderful commentary - when u take the 5 players out from the spine of the team they are not the same side and struggle. Take 5 players out of Barcelona and they struggle. Fucking twats. Shocking sexond half performance.
Caballero has yet to have a decent game for us, taking up a foreign spot and a downgrade on pantillimon and at £6m shocking signing.
Defence looks all over place without Kompany, is this one year too far for demichelles legs ?
Aguero just not done it yet but with bony and kelchi injured what option is there.
Sterling poor last couple games after very bright start.
navas brought nothing when brought and can only think Fernandinho had an injury to come off with yaya already off pitch.
Really need silva and kompany fit for Wednesday. If yaya out and they not back we could be in big trouble for Europe.
Chelsea win today and gap down to 5. Anyone still think Chelsea are out of it now.
Officials had a shocker too handed them the initiative. Shite start to weekend.

A serious question: it seems to me to be noticeable that a huge emphasis has been put on the fact that we have squad deep enough to cover with 2 players available for every position. Can Sergio's lack of form be down to the fact that he has no credible competition for his place as Bony appears to be woefully short of confidence / square peg in round hole (take your pick) and Iheanacho is injured at the moment?

Linesmen were shocking, but as soon as the equalizer went in, the entire lot of them went hiding.

Disgraceful 2nd half "performance." No urgency, no leadership, no character.

Spurs are completely average and we made them look like title contenders.

Interesting to see on the BBC site that spurs got three times as many free kicks as we did....

Just saying...

How was spurs 2nd goal offsides though?

Anyway better to have a kick in the arse now maybe but 2 losses already is worrying.
