I'm not one of the people harping on about past great players but I must admit that I've always had bit of a man cruch with Alonso. Stunningly amazing footballer who genuinely DOES those things that don't necesserily meet the eye lot of people claim Barry does. Keeps the formation together, can deliver crucial balls sideways and forward. Quick thinker and always helps players around him shine. I would make an exception on him and bring him in for few years. Not that he would come or anything but in theory.
