YeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

We've beaten Germany and could get 2nd if we get a win or even 2-2 draw or higher score.
Shane Long with a bullet, beat Neuer.

I'll say one thing for the Irish team. They are technically very poor, bar about two players, but the workrate of every one of them was phenomenal.

Best night for us for years. Now go beat Poland.

Been saying all week OD, thst I fancied a result here more than in Poland.
You never know though. Second place is within their grasp.

Congratulations to Ireland, for a fantastic win!

Also, extra congratulations to City's brave peace envoy, Aleks Kolarov, for scoring this amazing last-minute goal, from the tightest of angles! Kolarov has now dedicated this wonder goal to Mase, for his loyal support!

Aguero just subbed off. Looks like he'll be out for a few weeks at least.

Seriously though, Tata Martino & Dunga should both be fired, for being tactically clueless.
If Tata had given Sergio a proper strike partner, like Tevez or Lavezzi, this hamstring injury could possibly have been avoided. Did Tata completely forget how effective Aguero & Lavezzi were, both scoring & assisting together? Is Tata totally ignorant of the fact that Aguero & Tevez were a far better partnership, than they were as solo strikers?
Of the 2 ex-City players, only Tata could make Carlos Tevez look less effective, than Felipe Caicedo!

Let's hope that Sergio's injury heals instantly...and that he avoids the jinx of wearing Messi's shirt, in the future.

Now I know why we shunted milner, average grafter with little skill.
Sterling is doing OK.

Milner always worked hard but lacks quality. In many ways I think he is a very lucky lad to have had that success with us. There are much better footballers that won nothing. I can't knock his attitude though.

Pellers should have done what Ferguson did tell the countries not to play players or keep them home, in shitty internationals

That's what I meant. I couldn't see him lasting much longer without a goal.

Nice to see Raheem score.

The thing that struck me most though, especially, in the first half, was how many England players needed an extra touch: receive the ball, play it a little way ahead/to the side, pass. I suppose I am so used to seeing Silva, Yaya, Nasri and now KDB doing that in two touches, or even all in one.

I think sterling played his best game so far this season. Always on the move and looked confident. He needed that. Let's hope he comes back and bags a few whilst Kun is in the oxygen chamber

Missed my flight back last night so drove home to watch the game. Wish I hadn't have bothered (watching the game, that is) as without Wiggy playing I had nobody to vent my frustration at.

Shit game but good to see that Milner is now an automatic pick, now he plays for the Dippers.

Belgium without its starting center back pairing so Wilmots moves his starting fullbacks in to the center (even if theyre actually CBs) and brings in 2 less experienced players to play fullback. Denayer on bench. Hm. Would've thought Denayer would start.
