Yep. As we all know Pellegrini likes to play 2 strikers at all times. And at any one time 50% of our strikers will be injured and the other 50% will be out of form. We will also be competing in 4 competitions at the same time so we need 2 sets of strikers (2 comps per striker pair). So:

2 strikers for champs league and league (The Leage Strikers)
2 strikers for fa and league cup (The Cup Strikers)
2 strikers as injured reserve
2 strikers as out of form reserve
1 youth striker to maintain Holy holistic Barca approach

But since we have not yet completed our transfer business, we have given leatherface, baconface, twatini, and others all time to meddle the pot andscrew us over! Were fucked!

------------------

This is a cracking game by the way. Come on Italy!!

Am I understanding you correct when I read that you want one pair of strikers constantly injured?

Impressive from Navas he looked a major threat. He sparked a bit of life into a poor Spain performance, they look knackered. Some of the italians are dead on their feet.

It's been a great game. Spain is finally coming to life now as well. If Italy can hold out to the penalties though. But it's hard to care, such a mickey mouse tournament after all.

And when you compare the freshness of the Spaniards compared to the Italians, after 120 minutes in these conditions, it's hard not to take the doping rumours serious.

Especially when they destroyed all the evidence after the doctor in question said many footballers were guilty.

I love penalty shootouts though, this should be good

He is looking good. Cracking pace and good balls into the box. Should be interesting next season!

I know.He provides something totally different, love the way he hangs out wide in space waiting for the ball so he can make a burst at the defence. His pace to get around a defender is frightening he caused them all sorts of problems tonight.

Exactly !!

looking forward to wide play next season, this is something that was lacking.

Used to feel real bad all the time, when our midfield took ball to wings only to pull it back

I like him a lot (Navas). Bottle, speed, and he uses his brain. Can't wait to see him in sky-blue.
