2nd half much better. Despite them trying to stop and slow play every opportunity.
Why can't we play like that all the time? Take 2nd half performance into the Chelsea game.
P L always been the priority for me

What the fuck is THAT on Michael Owens mug? Looks like he's just come from panto!

Played much better second half wanted to get the ball out of defense / centre circle much quicker which showed that we can play with desire to get the ball in the onion bag.

Silva magnificent, Jo saved our bacon a couple of times and vinny occasionally nods off.

Go out to dortmund and go on to get the league and fa cup again come back next year and learn from this runs mistakes.

Not the end of the world.

Agreed. Stayed away from the sensationalist talking point agenda and spoke his own opinion. Impressive based on the current media standard

We were only good in the second half because Madrid settled for what they had.
Dzeko is NOT good enough at this level, his general play is terrible. He is what he is an impact sub, nothing more or less. What the fuck is wrong with nasri? And Mancini can fuck off with his stupid defensive confusion mess and revert to two solid centre halfs like last year.

Can't believe it, we were having this discussion in our blue household the other day, yes we haven't hit our stride but top of the league, least goals conceded and the only unbeaten team left in the leagues

At present, on a team by team comparison, we're three points up on last season.

Ultimately our downfall was the 10 mad minutes or so in Madrid, and the denial of a penalty kick at home against Ajax. get those 5 points and we would have qualified tonight.

Stelling asked is bobby under pressure. Rudd said yeah champions league blah blah

Souness said no, not at all. Top of the league, English champions hardest group and bobby just wants to learn and progress. We should go back to four at the back as there was fuck all wrong with that.

Also said for him city are THE team to beat in England and that money isn't everything, bobby is doing great managing those personalities. And that management isn't what it used to be.

What a game. Many of those who have a passion for hate of our club will take the negatives but for me I thought we outplayed possibly the worlds best side....that was, after we switched.

The 3 at the back just didn't work, we were over-run in every department. Bobby obviously thought that with our injuries that we could at least give it a game; we couldn't. The freekick and subsequent goal was all player driven and furthermore, the chances that Real (yep, Real Madrid!) had was down to poor understanding of the situation. Thankfully, Mancini learnt his lesson and sorted the shape of the team out (3 at the back just doesn't work).

From thereon in I thought we were much more organised and a much better threat. We dominated large parts of the game and produced some really good football. The Aguero penalty was fortunate and the sending off even more so but from that point in I thought the referee controlled the game superbly.

The breaking up of play, allowing Real time and time again to fall over (even though they broke for a goal he allowed play with one of their players down but stopped it as soon as we had the break), was absolutely sensational. Why he did it, I don't know. Combine this subtleness with the draw regulations and you realise we don't really stand a chance. We're the petro-dollar upstarts don't you know.

Not worried at all and we can walk away with our heads held high. We may finish bottom but which Blue really cares? It's never an excuse, it's always a priviledge, that's what being a Blue is all about.

Roll on (I used to say stroll on) Sunday, I'm confident that the lads are focused and ready to give a good account. Let's just hope we can keep 11 players on the pitch. We're such dirty bastards don't you know!
