Oh, and did anyone notice when Robbie was being subbed, how he pointed to his arm like a watch as if to say 'Come on Hughesy Boy, let me finish a game off!'. Pure class once again from the City team.

I think he was pointing to say your 30 minutes too late in taking me off as I was a passenger for most of the game. Not impressed with robbie today and think that bellers would have helped us to a better victory today.

Also wtf was the shaking of ancelotti's hand about? also having a word with him? Very strange for that to happen.

just a quick note: the two defensive midfielders were awesome today, ndj was WOW and barry was brilliant. However, we really need to learn how to keep the ball in the situations like we found ourselves in during the last 20 mins. we played some panic football.

Let's hope the Spuds getting a tonkin' tomorrow giving us a view on that top 4 spot again. What a fantastic result though. I watched the last 20 mins through my fingers.

I'm the opposite mate, thought he had a really ggod game and as always, he pulled players in leaving space for others. Haven't seen the Ancelotti bit yet but I do know that they have met before and that Ancelotti had plans on him for Milan.

Some great posts in there fella's however I was a little troubled by the early ones. All's that I can say is that from my point of view we hammered, and I mean hammered them. At certain times, the players looked as though they wanted to Exit Left, and Ancelotti seemed like he needed some sunshine with his hat on, hat off routine.

2 - 1....................what more can you ask??

And MotD have just proved that it shouldn't have been a corner for their goal; I bet they're gutted now. Never wake a sleeping giant ha ha ha

Also, Ned's was defo a penalty, Shay's a hero, Nidge did kiss Shay and Drogba can't handle the City defence. Did I miss anything?

Not sure I've ever seen someone as chuffed to score - really pleased for him, you could tell what it meant.

Great pic SMB, but no wonder he scored, there's no-one else in the ground ;-)

Just been watching the highlights again - how good was Lescott to lean back out of the way of Tevez's free kick?

actually Ade's buildup to the freekick really helped create the goal more than the clip of the goal alone really shows. He fucked with Essien for a good few minutes pushing back and forth and arguing while they were trying to create their wall because Essien wouldn't back up and give Tevez space...and then once he got lined up he was looking back watching Cech and then created the gap. Why on earth Cech moves behind his wall initially instead of into the area where that gap is was just poor goalkeeping to be honest. Really poor. And ill take that from the opposition any day of the week. ;)

Yes Doomeh...even the OS has this quote about it...

"The acclaim for the save even included a kiss from a grateful Nigel de Jong, but the inspirational Irishman preferred to pass the credit over to his goalkeeping coach..."

what a gay moment. Yes, i mean happy.

cheers
