@Scottwilsonecho:
Steve Bruce hoping to get permission to talk to Stephen Ireland next week

Thats from Twitter. A move to Sunderland would be a bit of a comedown from Arsenal or the others he was perhaps hoping for. Personally if ireland wants to leave City it confirms my suspicions that he's nuts, and for Sunderland?

I can feel it in my cock that Balotelli is going to sign for us.

just hope we get him and tie up the kolarov deal then I would be fairly confident that we can challenge for the title.

Nery Castillo, anyone remember this guy? He cost Shakhtar 15m euro (and City supposedly 5m for the loan spell, although he allegedly paid some of it himself) is off to the MLS for nothing. At 26 years of age. What a career.

Kolarov is already a City player, according to this:

http://www.vavel.es/internacional/kolar ... _5893.html

I have no idea who Vavel.es are, and the last I heard marwood and co are back on the first flight to Italy this morning, but:

KOLAROV IS ALREADY A CITY PLAYER. Alexander Kolarov, the left sided Serb who interested Real Madrid before the world cup, has left Lazio to join Mancini's Manchester City. The transfer has been completed at €20.5 and makes the club's 4th signing this window after Boateng, Touré and Silva. Kolarov arrives in Manchester to replace Wayne Bridge, not rated by Mancini. The Serb is 24 and indisputeable left back for Serbia, with whom he was eliminated in the first round of the world cup, his first.

Sounds promising John - I hope it's true. I can't believe how boring all this waiting for news is - I never realised how impatient I've become! Get on with it City! :o)
