Given that Madrid were kicked out of the Cup last night by a second division team, Alonso is probably quite pleased he is out of there.

Interesting - a factor in the Guehi decision?

When are they expecting us at their home? Easiest possible 3 points for them.

February 1st Spurs fans have already banked the three points in their survival calculations

Put a plank of wood on their bench and they will still win.

Glasner will be sacked very soon. Another one complaining about the owners. It only ever ends one way. And given how he is leaving anyway at end of season he is surely on borrowed time

Cannot see Frank surviving too much longer. Doubt Palace sack Glasner as they know he's going at the end of the season. I rate Frank he did a superb job at Brentford he was daft to go to Spurs but he was always going to go on from Brentford. Going to get silly pretty soon with the manager merry go round.
We have to be monitoring the situation surely.

Id be on to Alonso asking if he wants to spend the next 6 months here, learning from Pep and then take over at the end of the season.

They've known for a long time when Pep is leaving and strike me as the kind of people not to wait and see what's available when he does leave.

My thoughts too but you also need the flexibility if an opportunity arises that you weren't anticipating like that with Alonso or Enrique

That's from Richard Keys. I struggle to believe that Old Hairy Hands has the inside info on anything other than his daughters pals phone numbers.
