Yes neither are good enough in that position but one man keeps playing them there where they make the same mistakes and cost us points. Lewis is too weak and lacks physicality to make up for his poor defensive positioning , tidy on ball yes and could be a player there but never a full back and he’s been set up to be abused.
The decision to change the two that late in game was idiotic. Look at their second goal, Lewis has gone into the middle of park, where no doubt was told to be, Stones is too far over to full back position and Dias too deep playing them all on and outnumbered.

If we keep playing same players who aren’t Upto it the same position and they are costing games it’s the managers fault. I don’t for one minute believe if he has told the board he needs a new right back since January that they wouldn’t have gotten someone in by now. Yes most wanted Livermento but if he’s not available there are many actual right backs that do a better job that players being thrown in there.

Pep said we were excellent for an hour.

Surely massive alarm bells are going off in the boardroom

I would love to be the case, but I don't see them doing anything.

Most pundits are of the opinion we were ok up to the first goal and until Brighton decided to push back .

iN REALITY IT DOESN'T MATTER PEP - WE LOST AGAIN TO AN AVERAGE SIDE SURRENDERING A LEAD IN THE PROCESS.

Performances have deteriorated for at least 18 months, we are fed the same boring football and our appetite for it has been exhausted for many.

Me neither.

This will take the fans turning on Pep first.

I think he could be gone by Christmas tbh.

I have seen enough in these last 2 defeat's to suggest the problems might go much deeper than his out dated system.

There is a distinct lack of effort from the 11 on the Pitch to try and reverse a potential defeat when we go behind. That second half against Spurs we never remotely looked like getting back in to the game. Same again today against Brighton. Does not bode well for the Big games coming up.

Is it fitness related, attitude related No excuse for lack of effort.

Not something us Blues will tolerate.Even when we were shit players put shifts in.

Watching players play like they are doing a walking Football add for TV is unacceptable.
