We don't have a back 4. We have 3 + Canceló.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Just a shit day. I thought that Foden and Kev had no impact at all as they were marked out of the game. I thought that Sterling should’ve stayed and one of them gone off for Mahrez but to score 3 and ship 4 says that the issues today were elsewhere.

I wasn’t expecting that second half where every attack from them seemed a goal in waiting. It was obscene.

Could have brought Delap on. Young kid yes, but fearless and a natural striker.
But doesn't mask the terrible defending

Wake up call, so when dippers inevitably win their game in hand they will be 3 points behind us, the only turd in the water pipe is we have the rags at home can't remember the last time we beat them at home, perhaps Pep will treat this as a normal game and not a derby which he seems not to give a fuck about

Stones must be wondering what the fuck he has to do to get a regular run at centre half again. Him and Dias is the best partnership for me, Laporte goes to fuck when under any pressure, great man for passing balls out when nobody coming. Cancello doesn’t even try to defend the cross. All spurs do every game is counter and play same ball and it’s worked for them under 3 different managers in a row. We were crossing balls in and leave the one striker with a physical presence we have on the bench and have Foden challenging their centre halves.
Very disappointing performance from all including the manager, even the draw gave us the cushion to lose one more game to lose game from there was very unprofessional. Spurs lost 3 in a row and are a shambles and we play into their hands. Can be sure liverpool will be getting everything in their favour going forward now Sky want their fairytale of the greatest ever comeback when they were written off.

Huge game against an everton side desperate for points next week

Is correct. I cannot see a defender in him. He's uttey unpredictable and generally wastes 8/10 positions he gets into. Massively overrated. Massively.

Agreed. Sterling was actually a real threat. Mystifying withdrawal, Foden was useless tonight and vanished in the 2nd half. KDB did nothing too, literally nothing. Stunning. Obscene is an apt word, it was truly that.

Foden has been crap for a while, with occasional glimpses of what he’s capable of.

Weekend ruined.

True.

It isn't good for anyone to get what they want all the time. Character building etc etc. Not a nice team to lose to but hardly the end of the universe. Who would have refused six points ahead at this stage of the season?

The players and manager have got a full week to ruminate on that now. They need to learn from it.

My thoughts.

If you are going to play high balls into the box, why not throw Delap on for some height and physical presence?

If you have got Thorin and fucking Gimli up front like us, why play high balls into the box? How many headers did we win?

Defending is not just the responsibility of the back four. The midfielders have to muck in as well and even the front three. Not tracking the runner into our box - AGAIIN - is our downfall. See Southampton and their second goal today for a lesson not learned.

Two wingers or no wingers. We lacked width today. One winger means everything goes down that side. Our game is stretching the play across the pitch, using and maintaining our width and getting to the bye line or playing through the gaps the width creates infield. We hardly ever got to the bye line today. The one time we did we got a penalty for it. It needs two wide men to stay wide or it simply does not work.

Hey ho. Onward and upward. 91 league clubs would swap places.

Let's take it out on Everton.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Agree with this 100%. The Fulham match was a precursor of this.

Spot on.
Plus confirmation yet again that we need a central striker
Plus we are suspect to counter attacking teams who have pace - like the Rags!

Avoiding media for next week. It will be insufferable.
