George Evans on Loan until end of the season!!!!

http://www.scunthorpetelegraph.co.uk/Ma ... story.html?

Another League 1 loan, surely they could have found him somewhere in Championship if they are looking for him to progress?

I seem to recall Ted & Doug (& others) rating this lad so why at the age of 20 is he going loan to League 1 or am i missing something?

I rated him in the Abu Dhabi game & thought he knocked the ball around nicely in a couple of recent EDS games, but he wasn't one on my list.

I was surprised how good he looked. May well be he's an unknown to most clubs.

Di Marzio says Roberto wants Micah but having to check whether playing in the Community Shield counts because a player can't play for three clubs in one season.

Yes.

Devante Cole, two first half goals for MK Dons.

A very, very interesting look at Chelsea's loan system and how it works.

http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/ ... y-cost-ffp

It's impressive and i wouldnt be surprised if we started doing similar things. Look at Nwakali on loan to Malaga for two years for example. I think we'll actually look to integrate more directly from our academy than they do though.

Tbh we're already on that to some extent. As well as the obvious players we hear about, we have several who never even get a mention, like Devine Naah, Godsway Donyoh, Ade Bismark Boateng, not sure if Mohammed Abu is still a City player.

Of course there's Nastasic, Richards, Negredo from the 1st team squad

Rusnak has just left.

Add the more well known Guidetti, Denayer, Rekik, Lopes, as well as Nawakali, Zucculini, Cole, Fofana, Bytyqi then several lesser known lads like Greg Leigh George Evans, Hiwula. Plummer & Drury just returned. Facey may be going to New York.

The main difference is I doubt we will see it as anything than a bit of help to cover expenses. If Chelsea are hoping to make a big dent in ffp with it, I think they are walking a tightrope. They have had a bit of a lucky run with transfer deals so far, but I wonder how much is left for them to milk.

Lille vs PSG French Cup. 8 o clock ESPN. Rony might get a start if the boring coach has the balls to try & win.

And for Rekik fans: Breda vs PSV on SS5 7.30

Rumours the useless boring twat has left Rony on the bench. Sadly no surprise with that negative shite of a manager.

Just saw Lopes take a corner that beat the first man. It's made me nearly dizzy with excitement.

Still ended up with PSG on the break though. Thought Rony was fairly bobbins when he came on, doesn't yet have the yard of pace back to get away from his man, but compared to the rest of Lille's attack he was Maradona. And if PSG play like that v Chavs, then they'll lose without Chelsea even breaking sweat. Seen several bits of 4 different games tonight and all of it has been fucking awful.

I turned on the lille game for the last 10 mins and lopes touched the ball twice. Once to control it and the other to shoot. They were playing around him and they were chasing the game. Strange.

Although he did nothing of note, I still liked what I saw. He was faster than I remembered and he does seem to have the confidence to take on a player and to have a crack at goal from outside the box.

It was frustrating to watch the game tho as the only thing I was interested in was how he plays and they just wouldn't pass the ball to him! Bastards
