I think it's because he isn't cool enough. Everyone in our team looks like a cool guy, whereas Dzeko looks like the kind of bloke who would have been picked on in school if it wasn't for the fact that he's good at football. Like Dennis Bergkamp. Or Peter Crouch.
Now everyone is good at football, so his lack of coolness is a problem.

I agree with Beefy on this to a point. Aguero hardly ever gives Dzeko a decent pass & silva failed to pick him out on several occasions.
But Dzeko was still not what you would expect at this level.

I also highlight to Beefy, the fact that Mancini has just said he thinks it was 2 points dropped, & therefore must have been 'listening to Ted'.

It so reminds me of Danny. Maybe weird but the caravan and the getting chased by a chicken always reminds me of Bingo. I actually thought, especially after we met up, that it was him.

Anyway, great gif, keeps the fires burning.

Well if that's the problem I guess we as supporters must respect the choices of the City-players. If he's not cool enough he just isn't.

And Ted, he may say 2 points lost but the last 15 minutes said 1 point gained for us and 3 points dropped for them. It's not just about 'chat'.

I have also thought about this but didn't want to bring it up out of insecurity. Thank you.

We used to be so ugly but how the tables have turned. We have to get rid of Tevez as well but then City will boast the most handsome team in the PL.

Sorry mate but they were there for the taking today. We had it all our own way for about 82 of 92 minutes played but we didn't create a single clear chance. Everything broke up in the final third because they sat back and defended in numbers and because dzeko just isn't tevez. It's not that I don't rate dzeko but he is absolutely useless outside of the box. He is too slow, especially in possession. Tevez would of stretched them for aguero and vice versa. Not only that but if dzeko is going to start it has to be with tevez because aguero just ignores him completely but tevez works well with him.

Mancini fucked up imo , he should have taken the absolutly shocking Aguero off at half time and brought on Tevez / Balotelli and then taken Dzeko off later and replaced him who whoever was left out of Balo /Tevez.
Bringing on Balo with 4 minutes to go is just mongolic imo , I just do not get it.

Also Nasri should have come on for the inefective Milner after half time.Chelsea were fuckign shite and we were lethargic.

Its 2 points loss , make no mistake.

The fact that we've been to Chelsea with Kolarov & Nastasic in the team & looked solid is an enormous bonus. Last season, with Savic, we would have been a shambles. The question is whether we can do it without Vinny. He was great today, as was Zabba.

What you saying Ted? Savic has gone, Mancini got the defence right, what are you saying compared to last season? Vinnie is our captain, lose him and you lose the heart of a team. We're stronger now, Nasti has shown that. A few mistakes, yes, but he's proved himself with his outlet.

I'm saying that from the moment Savic set foot in the team last season, City looked a shadow of the side they did previously. Also when Kolarov played, we often looked shite at the back & conceded goals from his side. This time last year, we would have lost a game like today if Lescott & Clichy were missing so it is a huge bonus that we can go to Stamford Bridge this season & get a result with those 2 plus Richards missing. I'm still not convinced we can get away with it if Vinny gets injured or suspended like last season though.

Disappointing we lost, but I thought we made them look ordinary today. Football is often won/lost with fine margins and we had 3-4 good chances, and were unlucky not to see one go in.

They are still a very, very good side, playing at home. If they decide to play ten men behind the ball, we're not going to be able to force dozens of great chances - United needed an offside goal to win against nine men.

I think we're starting to dominate again in the Premier League.

Ahhh, that's better...understand now. However, Lescott/Nasti/kolo combinatio is much better than Savic.

They weren't a top team on the day today, they were an ok team, similar in quality to West Brom or Swindon & City at even 70% would have beaten them. Personally I don't blame Mancini for it though, apart from that he needs to get the team a bit more fired up in general, especially at the start of games. I think a new top quality attacking signing would have had that effect & we should maybe change a couple in the summer.

Just to put on record, over the last few games we have put several balls right into the six yard box & nobody has been there to tap in, Aguero dzeko in particular guilty. If Guidetti gets fully fit, I recon he would score some of those.
