Seen the goal. Clearly onside. He made a run which no one followed and scored with a simple header. Dreadful defending.

At this point, it doesn't really matter if they go in the semi or not.

Both or them will be after available after the Hull game. I am pretty sure we can win that game without them. We needed them with Chelsea and Arse.

ok fine. frustrating if ivory coast move on, but must say nice to know bony is in form and still looking like he will properly fit into our team, as well as help address weaknesses and turn them into strengths.

I heard they will miss the Stoke away if they make it to semis.
And there we would badly need them imo

The countries have first call on players for 48 hours after the tournament finishes. Ivory Coast will go back to their country for a presentation after the tournament regardless of how far they get. Bony and Yaya will both now miss the Stoke game. The last time Ivory reached the final on the Sunday and yaya was nt back until the Friday. Day before he had a shocker at Saints.

It might depend on the club. I remember last time they played the final with Zambia, however, i think and hope, City will have a say in this.

The rules state the countries have control of the players for 48 hours after the tournament. The club have no say and Ivory are taking the players back home when this tournament finishes. It's fucking ridiculous. Yaya flew out on Jan 6th and will not be available for us now until Feb 21st.

And this applies only if they are playing their final?

Sick. Ashley brought Cisse with a personal plane the next day Senegal went home and we have to wait a year to use our players
