I have been a City fan since 423BC when the team used to change in an old damp and mouldy shoe box. The players only had 1 boot between them and I well remember that after they passed the ball, players had run accross and give the boot to the next player.

Regretfully,my old coal driven laptop burnt out and I couldn't afford to have the chimney swept. Just got back online and thought I'd check out if this new laptop and tinterweb connections were all working properly.

Not sure what you meant by the second part but I came to support City because of Dzeko. I'm no player fan but once I got to know what the club is all about, I never looked back.

I also hated United long before I was interested in City so my hatred for the rags bred love for City ;)

Actually, I worked in Bosnia for the last 5 months. Finished at the start of December, and moved back to Britain for the next couple of months. I'm writing my thesis on architecture in Former Yugoslavia, though, so will be back out regularly, if not semi-permanently. I also worked in Bosnia 2007-09.

A lot actually. Literally every kid under the age of 14 is a City fan, and most who supported Italian or German clubs have now adopted City as a second team, or even their main one. It's pretty hard to watch a game with Bosnians sometimes- a lot only care about whether Dzeko's playing, and just ring up their friends who they know are watching the whole game to see if he's on the pitch yet- it's normal to receive 5-10 calls like that during a game.

Considering the weather at the moment, not too many City kits have been on show over the past few weeks!

Give it time, a lot will become City lifers. Have to say, most will leave with Dzeko though. I doubt he's going anywhere, I can definitely see him becoming a City legend and then moving to AC Milan around 30-31.

Anyway, I've been a die-hard Blue ever since and I'll be passing that on to my boy when he's born in a couple of months.

It's rare I can get to a game due to finances/travel etc. but I have fond memories of the 4-1 win at Ewood Park that brought us back to the PL in 2000 I reckon that's my happiest memory of a City game. Anyway, hello and I'll probably go back to lurking again now!
