What, the original advocate of VAR now completely against it. Does he not realise that it’s there to support the entertainment, not the integrity?

Wonder if he’ll call the full shit-show out on MotD?

Bet he was glad VAR wasn’t around when he assaulted Neil Lennon back in the day?

He should be more concerned about the refs in the championship.

Pep says it was ‘an exceptional result but not a good performance at all’. Presumably not happy that City didn’t dominate Newcastle in the first half. They did in the second half.

We were sloppy in our passing and gave the ball away cheaply a number of times compared to normal. It’s just our standards are so high that it’s noticeable when it does slip.

Chelsea are starting to fade. I wanted them around to put pressure on scouse but looks like its just us again. Not to worry, we will crack on.

I remember Zurich predicted this would happen and that Tuchel would be out before Christmas, well that may not happen but he could be OBE, out before Easter

Indeed just keep on doing what we do under the radar of the football media

I’d say we haven’t got a choice this year, we now seem to be a club that is being ignored, unless it’s a negative slant. I’m happy with that.

Weird game.

Zinchenko embodied the whole thing to me. Sloppy in possession yet got an assist and a huge hand in another goal.

4-0 and both rivals dropped points. You won’t hear me complain today.
Tracking back is overrated.
