Whilst I understand what is being said about back three and all, am still uneasy about this defence.

Yes, but I think he played 4-3-3 versus those cunts

What if it’s actually 4-3-3 with Bernie as left back?

I don’t think Bernardo will mark Saka. He might be available for back up if needed by Ake. Playing out is tricky with a three given the space between the left and the right players. We’ll miss Laporte here who will count himself unfortunate to miss out. It does leave room for both Gundogan and Bernardo though.

Silva will play deep and shuffle across to help Ake.

Gerrard may have told Pep it’s his punishment for calling him out?

Not really happy with a back 3 against a team who can break real fast

Middle of Arsenal's defence is their weak point imo. I don't rate Gabriel and Jorginho is no Partey.
De Bruyne and Gundo playing high supporting Haaland could be lethal.
Our weakness is the left hand side, will Bern and Ake be able to nullify Saka and Odegaard?

Ultimately, I cannot see Arsenal being able to handle Haaland if De Bruyne and Gundo play high just behind him.
It should make for an interesting game.

Didn’t we beat them in the cup with this set-up?

Come on City!

Bookies have us as favorites, approx odds: Ars 2/1 with City 1/1

Funny that. When it comes to BS everyone around us is amazing (Ten Bob, Ars....) but when it comes to hard cash the BS just melts away...

Would have preferred defenders that can play there way out of an aggressiv high press. A numerous advantage in midfield means nothing if we can't get the ball there.

Great footwork from Haaland, not that they'll mention it.
