Grealish was MOTM at Wolves and ripped the rags apart last game against them.

Hoping there's nothing weird with the line up. Starting Grealish AND Mahrez is a big "no". At least we can't have Stones at RB. Walker is a must with their pace. I've heard that Martinez kept Haaland quiet when Ajax played Dortmund so should be interesting.

Agree.

Walker jumanji dias cancelo
Rod
Kev bern
Foden haaland alvarez

No mahrez or grealish ( both fighting to be this seasons' sterling)

Impossible to predict pep but I think he's going to stick with Grealish.
He seems to be taking it easy with Alvarez, so I cant see him starting.
But who knows what he will do.

Also he needs to factor in what sort of nick the players are in after the internationals. Plus he has had two weeks to think about this game ;)
Impossible to predict the lineup imo

Looking forward to this after recovering from a bad dose of the shits from the south east Asia region. Actually having the shits during travelling back to Manchester from south east Asia involving 3 flights 2 busy as fuck airports and especially a 13 hour flight from Singapore spent mostly on a tight confined bog isn’t for the faint hearted especially when paying Premium class air fares ! My arse is fucking ruined !!!

Oh yeah the Derby !

We are going to destroy the rag bastards and it is going to be joyous . Etihad rocking and a few beers we all need cheering up don’t we !

Álvarez has to play in this game .

There again pep will probably play a lineup that we will all sigh about .

Why is everyone on here so keen on Alvarez?
I agree that in his limited game time he has impressed, but it seems like everyone is expecting him to be Kun2 and solve all our problems at a stroke.
Don't get me wrong, I really rate him and would like to see him play, but I just think that what seems to me to be unrealistic expectations are setting him up for a fall.

He was the player of the season in Latin America and top scorer in Argentina and most valued player on top of all that .

Everyone wanted to sign him .

He has shown us more than enough to actually start a match for us and I have no idea why you think having high expectations, all facts considered , is setting him up to fail ?

He changed the game when we came back agains palace , inthink it was .
He’s a player that hassles and upsets defenders - he should play on Sunday with haaland and foden /Grealish.

Come on lads. Grealish had a good game vs wolves yes. Alvarez has started ONE game, and won us points every cameo. Hevwould rip them.

Grealish will backwards and fall over. He doesn't deserve this game ,( but will defo start). Equivalent of sterling in porto. He's the new sterling.

Because he does more in 2 mins than grealish has done in a season.

Direct, aggressive, looks like scoring, beats players. " give grealish a season" well give alvarez 5 starts in the bounce and compare the two...

It is interesting that Haaland (for certain) and Alvarez (on what we have seen so far) have fitted in with Pep's systems straight away.
Playing in positions that are the hardest to adapt to (no need for a year to learn......)
What is also interesting is that DeBruyne, Silva and Foden are adapting quickly to both of the newcomers. Game by game you can see the improvement.
Rodri took a year to adapt and seemingly he is a very intelligent person.
Hard to figure out why some 'get it' straight of the bat and some need a lot of time?
