I swore allegiance to her when I became an Australian citizen. That was a long time ago and she was my queen since then. Rest In Peace your majesty.

Like nottsblue I am very much in favour of the royal family. We have lost a wonderful and remarkable woman, the likes of which we may never see again.

Sad day for me and i suspect for the vast majority of this country and blues young and old. There have been some great tributes and i guess there will always be idiots saying some hurtful and spiteful things. All i know is that she has been a constant in all of my 63 years and served our (and my) country well. If Carlsberg did Monarchs they could do better. It pains me to read what Sinclair has tweeted and i hope most feel the same. He may feel that way and i have no problem in him expressing those views but now is not the time. What an utter cunt he has shown himself to be. No l9nger a blue in my eyes, he can fuck right off

It was spot on. Hammers fans last night were class. This weekends games should be played and crowds given the opportunity to repeat the demonstration of respect

i'm not a massively emotional person but hearing them sing 'god save the queen' at last night's game sent a tingle down my spine and brought a lump to my throat. trying to figure out why, i think it's in part that her passing reminds me of my dearly departed gran...

Next Saturdays match against Wolves also postponed as it’s the day of the funeral. I imagine the Champions League match on Wednesday will go ahead.

It's all pointing to the funeral being on the Monday.
