Let's watch on Thursday to see how they both respond.

To be honest, I have no interest in other teams now due to the corruption that we’ve seen. Like the F1 it will all be about the entertainment and how the group can manipulate it to make a spectacle.

Both of them plus the rags will get plenty of help to keep this league the 'product' they want, a race to the wire etc etc. Expect to see Mo-diver, Bitch-Boy Bruno & Co taking to the air plenty of times, buckets of soft penos for Tranny Christmas! (they have to keep his ego happy too). To counteract we will have to play literally blistering football, which is near on impossible every 3 or 4 days. We will get no 'help' so in the vast majority of our league games we will have to play the best football ever seen. Only then will we win it.

Last night VAR checked a Zinch handball outside the box and Rodri apparently so called 'kicking' their keeper. If that was the rags, or vermin I would warrant a guess that those things would not have been checked so thoroughly with such vigor.
Call me paranoid I don't mind, and obviously it made no difference but the Foden off side where his toe was over the VAR blue line, how do we know for sure those screen images are accurate and unaltered. They have the technology to change it. Do we have to just trust them? Don't think I ever will.

Instead of adjudicating they are using VAR to find incidents to catch us out. Couldn't and didn't work last night but watch out!

Well, if your paranoid you’re amongst a decent group, even Pep knows that we’re officiated and treated differently. Everything you say we see game in and game out and it needs to be called out, if not only for ourselves because not many others listen.

When I’m home I watch the games with one of my lads who is a United fan (2 others City) and would never have any of it, especially for his club. So, I started to trickle things in, going for United and stuff that goes against City. It didn’t take long for him to start seeing these things himself and within no time he’s telling me how the league has helped them out and how they hamper other teams.

Sky and the PL don’t do this for the sport, they were specifically set up to make a profit and if that comes by manipulating the sport by owning the officials then so be it, needs must. And, just like the F1, there will be times when the fix is made obvious because of the desperation to make things happen but they then have the cheer leaders in place to brush it under the carpet. The love-in after the F1 with no real concern of what the rest of the world was talking about does show how things work in the entertainment industry.

It’s there if you are prepared to open your eyes, just that some just don’t want to see.

Noting my post above my lad just messaged me to say ‘How the hell was that a pen, he got the ball’. I agree with him and it was interesting how long Alti took to give it, most probably via the ‘Match Commander’.

What’s better for Sky and the PL, Rags getting a free run for the Wenger Trophy or them fighting it out with Arsenal to be the first of the also rans?

Was listening to a Mark Lawrenson review of the weekend matches with some radio hosts who where bigging up Liverpool, for ex, scored in 31 consecutive matches, delivering at both ends of the pitch, VVD back to his best and so on (sickening).

Lawrenson said: '.....I was at the game.....I have to say I thought that Villa could easily have had a penalty and obviously the one that Liverpool got, everyone looked at it and thought, hmmm, may not have been given.....but Liverpool deserved to win, they were the better team.....'

That from an ex Liverpool player who loves the club! That is how transparent the cheating has become. I thought fair play to him.
Needless to say the radio hosts ignored the penalty stuff and continued by blowing smoke up Matic's arse.

Later I listened to Pat Nevin. Who said you expect Liverpool to get penalties at Anfield, it has always been like that. They get the calls at home.
He then talked about the science and how much possession teams like Liverpool (and Fergie's Utd) have in the opposition box and how this pressure will inevitably translate into penalties as the opposition tire and make mistakes.
Only problem I have with that is that it never seems to apply to us. We seem to be scientific outliers.

Still two pundits calling it out as best they can while simultaneously trying not to be sacked from their punditry gigs.

That is how corrupt things are.

Thanks both, didn’t realise it was LFT. A bit of a piss-take then as they’ve only proved to be 60% reliable and as you do them yourself then you may as well just put water in piss in the test for all it’s worth. Oh, and it seems the LFTs have run out.

Telling, isn’t it? The tell in there is the ‘but Liverpool deserved to win, they were the better team’ and ‘you expect Liverpool to get penalties’ meaning that they are telling the listener to forget about sporting integrity, it’s discarded because it’s [insert any of the red teams].

The Norwich boss, I think, has called for all fixtures at the weekend to be postponed. Sooner play it, win the game and have the points on the door and let the others play catch up with the fixtures at the business end

It's the Brentford boss that's asked for that. The PL have said matches will carry on " where safe".
It's great for us if we carry on picking up 3 points. We don't have the Carabao 2 leg semi so we've a week off after Newcastle and we have practically a full squad to choose from with players getting back to top form.
Dippers play Spuds Sunday and their last few have been called off, might be rearranged when the African Cup of Nations is on.
Chelsea have the World Tournament in Feb and will have to rearrange games.
We could be laughing.

European clubs have threatened to not release their players. The organizers have said it's definitely happening.
I hope it does, it will affect Liverpool and Chelsea far more than us.

Chelsea game goes ahead despite 3 players testing positive, no names given so will look at their team sheet with interest later.

Organisers have confirmed the Africa Cup of Nations will go ahead in January in Cameroon, despite fears over rising cases of Omicron - the new Covid variant dominating headlines (yesterday)
