No fans for the foreseeable future will mean the death rattle for at least a dozen if not more lower league and non league clubs. Even a club the size of Sunderland will struggle as I’d imagine they are the biggest payers in league one due to the support they get. Without that where does the money come from? There’s little sponsorship in the lower leagues if any.

That said, I have little sympathy with clubs who over stretch themselves financially with a dream of promotion and the like. Clubs like Macc who owed Campbell £170k for less than a years work are idiots. Saw a lad the other day at work who is a player at Forest. Not a first teamer by any means but at 19 is on 12k a month! Just crazy money

For the first week of September there were less total deaths in England than the 5 year average!

Out of 170,000 NHS beds only 460 are occupied by patients positive for Covid.

There is no pandemic

There is no medical reason to keep stadiums closed to crowds.

Compare the last week (when we've got there) to the first week - we're sliding back to where we were. (I still want fans back asap though, it's not the same)
