Gundo was always starting this one. Pep trusts him to receive the ball under pressure. Guarantee that he starts against Madrid as well. Foden is a nice surprise

Why do we need two defensive midfielders at home?

Rodri and Gundogan do tend to slow things down.

Glad that Foden has a place in a biggish game for a change.

They’ve both been playing better than Merlin and Bernardo

Have to say agree with gundo and rodri, they do seem to make things very slow.
Would have preferred Bernies energy in there, bit hes been indifferent aswell.
Really glad to see Phil and Eric.

Every defeat this year has come when Rodri and Gundog have started. The last game we lost when they didn't start together was Wolves and we were winning (despite only having 10 men) until Gundog came on to join Rodri.

Wonder what Bernie has done wrong. Keown was correct then.

Gundo and rodri pisses me off so much.

I think we have lost every league they have started in that role but could be wrong.

I know we beat real with them but in the league i cant recall a win with them.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gundo has grown on me. Rodri is way off the pace of the Prem and he shouldn’t be playing “big” matches until he’s used to it.

Had a horrible thought that the dippers would walk into their guard of honour to YNWA.

Think I'd have kicked my telly in if that happened
