Typical city is over right?

So what are your plans? Mary Ds, City square or town before the game?

If you plan on city square I will buy you and your missus a drink and even make an effort to get there early  . However, can't be arsed with Mary Ds. Town is OK but unless you know where and when it can be a pain. KK is also back in the UK, must be something in the water.

The 'Altrincham' fan.
If Chelsea play 3 at the back they'll get a mullering.

Have we had the lured captions yet, such as 'El Cashico'or 'City Oil Money v LGB Subsidies'?

You can bet your bottom dollar Beefy, that the main brunt of the scathing captions will fall on City.

Chelsea, although 'tainted' by dirty foreign money are somehow more 'acceptable', in media eyes, than we are.

We'll have to buckle our seat belts and get ready for the mandatory bumpy ride (as per usual).

We'll probably have to wait until the LC games are played but it will come.

I think this is on BT so for us away from home it'll be another chance to receive their bile.

I'm usually quite optimistic about these big games but maybe it's the hangover from last season's record versus the top 8, our recent disjointed performances, and their form that I am not so certain it will go as we wish.

We have managed to turn it on against Barca and Pep has clearly been trying to keep many players fresh after the International breaks with all of this rotation, but our defence is worrying me, theirs is rarely conceding and we are still not clicking in attack as we were earlier in the season. I assume we will go with our best eleven but Pep always seems to throw a wrench in our expectations.

Does he have some magical solution to go after 3 at the back? No one else has quite figured it out. Draw on its way?

IMO this game is tailor made for us.
Top players rested, at home, week to work on tactics.
Confident we will have a solution for their 3 at the back and the quality to execute it.
Don't forget they have to nullify Brown, Kun and Silva, et al.
I expect a high quality game and victory by a 2 goal margin.

I like this post. Positivity and top of the league by 3pm.

Maybe stay top too if the dippers slip up as I think firmino, coutinho and starring are injured

To me it will undoubtedly be City dominance, with Chelsea pretty Italian-style deadly on the break.

So guys:

PUT THE BALL IN THE FUCKING NET AND DON'T LEAVE CLICHY SWEEPING AT THE BACK ON HIS OWN!!!!!

Both sides are fairly evenly matched so it will likely come down to who takes their chances. Think we will win in a tight game, possibly with a goal from a set piece. Be a good game for Stones to get on the scoresheet

I keep watching the Nasri goal on the app.
What a fantastic and important goal it was.
More of that invention and composure when the opportunities come and we will win, less dilly dallying and more pulling of the trigger please !!

Just saw this mate. I've got to pick up my Celtic tickets in city square so pretty sure that's where we we'll be. Look forward to meeting you!
