It started with complaints that the ground wasn't full and then comparisons with other atmospheres. I assume it wasn't full in the first few minutes because people have real jobs, meaning evening kick offs are a pain to get to, but I assume a rich footballer who gets paid to get there several hours before wouldn't know.

Atmosphere was great. BT will look for any opportunity to criticise. Completely unjustified, top night. ( I hate BT more than Sky now!)

If that is the case then this is some serious bias and tampering that has to be looked at.

If they're turning mics down at certain stages it is disgraceful.

And I wouldn't doubt it for one minute.

Especially due to the booing of their anthem

Lets be honest , the fans we have are fuckign shit when it comes to being vocal for long periods...doesnt matter if we had 100,000 , it would be the same result.
Great for 5 mins and then another 15 at the end when we won....apart from that its flat.

Its a shit fact that we get battered with, from all and sundry, and its impossible to defend against.

I heard the loudest "Come on City!" I've ever heard during the game. Loved it.

Came across really well on the BT feed I was watching - every probe we made was met with a roar. It sounded brilliant.

They must have turned down the mikes on TV then and then turn them up when the likes of Crystal Palace play.

Theres always a mad buzz before and spatterings during, but theres not enough imo.
I went in the 80,s and 90,s and it was fuckign buzzing, nearly always....and that was for normal matches - its fuckign pointless getting in 50 odd k if we are not going to intimidate the opposition.

We need to ramp it up for the majority of these kind of games.

Would BT fuck about with the Sound ? Did Camel Gob come up with his new angle for slating us, The noise in the South Stand was as loud as Chelsea. The Paris fans were singing all night, I honestly only hear Paris once. Not sure what the crack is with the noise not coming through.

Sounded good last night on tv3 but maybe a bit patchy.

This has come up before and I think it's a big issue from a fans pride point of view and in terms of lifting the team, which should not be underestimated.

I was at the ground for the Leicester game and it was poor. Poor performance wasn't very inspiring but still, the crowd should really get behind the team no matter what. I was embarrassed as a supporter to be honest, Leicester fans made more noise than we did. So proud to be a City fan but this is our Achilles heel imo.

There was talk of rearranging some of the seating to get a big block of hardcore fans together. Another underhanded thing we could do is to break up the away fans into two blocks which would kill their unity. I hope the club does something here.

I thought it was a crackling atmosphere from the off. A lot of non regulars about us. I wish that want the case and we'd all be there to share the odd night of glory together.
Let's hear no complaints about ticket prices for the semi, the biggest game you can see your club in on its own ground in theory.

It was nothing like Maine Road, of course. But in contrast to the usual funereal atmosphere it felt good. A good start to building atmosphere would be if they turned off the fucking music before, during and after games, it drowns everything else out.

Out of our usual post-match, pub-going group about half missed the game, and it felt like an important moment in the history of the club, so it was a shame.

I was in the car home as the game started, so listened to the start of the game on radio. The anthem was incredible, on 5live you literally could not hear a single note of it, just pure bloody booing. Sounded spectacular.
