Sounds like veratti likely out since Blanc says he needs "a miracle" to play.

There is never a need or an excuse for Playing the Two Ferns.

Because he is a great footballer who can win a game on his own. A big game player.

Yep now SOLD OUT . Hope the place is rocking and we get the result to take into the semi,s ..............

and the club take note and revise future tickets prices = everyone happy ! :-)

Well if that give all the tourists song sheets on the way in, it might be rocking, but I suspect the only sound you'll hear is the rustling of half and half scarves and selfie sticks

haha bang on. Was about to post a rant around the derby following the letters we all got for standing up in the standing area post west brom and the tourists laughing and taking pics after United scored..

On topic... again, why would yaya play? we didn't need him in the other leg and its more important we have discipline. Players that will work hard for the cause and team. Navas etc deserve it.

As for selecting Yaya, on such an occasion you'd expect your big name players to do something special and he's done so in the past, despite some indifferent form this season important goals at Watford in Kiev and that pen at Wembley spring to mind instantly as game changing moments.

I'm not sure he should necessarily start though he should feature at some stage in the game. If he didn't play then I'm sure psg's players would be well pleased, he has presence and experience which the oppo will be fearful of.

I'll be very surprised if Yaya doesn't start unless Pellegrini doesn't fancy him to last the 90 minutes.

Why would Yaya not perform. He needs a decent contract to finish his career off, he's in a position to make a little slice of football history. I'm no fan of his laziness at times but this could be made for him.

IMO YaYa must play.

He can change a game in an instant (same as Brown and Kun).
Is a big game player. Delivers big time when the chips are down.
He will limit PSG's options as he will require special handling.

Put a plan in place that lets him do what he is good at and let the less gifted players cover his weaknesses.
Thats what team work is about.

De Bruyne is our best number 10. We must allow him to take up this position as well as occasionally going wide.Jesus to miss out but to come on when Kevin tires.

it should be the same lineup as the one in Paris but it won't be. Fern 2 will prob be on the bench for Yaya.

Anyone who thinks the two Fernsdont make us more solid should reflect on how they'd feel if Pellegrini names Toure and Fernandinho in central midfield. Hopefully he won't. If Toure plays which I think he will then Navas will make way. In that case Sagna and Clichy will have to be on their toes because I don't think they'll get much help from de Bruyne and Silva tracking back. Having both the Ferns really helps here. If Fernando plays it also means that Fernandinho has more freedom to go forward where he can really be effective. He scored the second goal in Paris because he was far enough forward to have the opportunity. I don't suppose we'll be that solid with Mangala and Otamendi but we'll be more solid if Fernando plays that's for sure.

That lineup saw us concede glaring chances that PSG fucked up. We rode our luck big time.

For me it should be the same system we used against Kiev away and against Liverpool at Wembley, with Fernandinho on the right tucking back in to make up the numbers in midfield. That was the most balanced we've looked all season.
