Bournemouth away just before the Paris game. Expect Yaya etc to be rested and another league defeat. We have no chance of top 4 with MP in charge.

2 games ago we needed to win all of our remaining fixtures to ensure a comfortable top 4 finish.
We have lost 6 points already - I personally don't believe that we will finish in the top four now looking at our remaining fixtures

Might it be that some of the players know they will be off in the summer and therefore are giving the finger to our Admin by letting Pep get a Europa Cup position ? sounds a bit sinister i know but this same bunch produced some cracking football until Pellegrini had his contract extended and Nasri went AWOL.

Probably about the time Pep said yes for definite.

Sack him? I'd have happily beheaded him in the centre circle at 6pm yesterday.

If we keep him, we won't make top 4. From City Watch tweet: City have failed to take a single point from any team in the top-16 of the Premier League since Pep was announced.

Absolute disgrace and shambles and the two waiters are as much to blame as the corpse managing us.

The irony is all the people saying he is tactically inept are the same ones calling for us to play two defensive midfielders, which in my opinion is the main reason we have been generally poor this year.
We have stopped being an attacking threat as we usually only have four attack minded players on the pitch. All this to break down teams playingnine and ten behind the ball. It is so obvious we are going to struggle to get through the massed ranks.
Furthermore, not only does this inhibit our ability to score Bt it makes it even more likely we will be hit on the counter attack. There is no guile or craft from the midfield and these less gifted players are going to give the ball away around the final third.
I've watched it time and again and then read that we need this 'sokid base'. It's a myth.
I also hear Yaya getting crucified and yet we muss him more than any other player, with the possible exception of Serg.
The two most feeble woeful performances of the season were at Liverpool and that wretched effort at Stoke. And that is how I always think of us without Yaya and with the fabled two defensive midfielders.
I've been saying all season long, "Attack, it's what we do best"

On television , you could clearly see Kun telling Bony to 'Shut up' in the second half when he tried a difficult angled shot rather than pass to Bony.

We are carrying players like Bony , Mdm and lately Silva and Sterling . Our attack is pathetic. I have not seen either Sterling or Navas take a defender on and get to the byeline for ages. That is what wingers do !

All is not right in the squad and Pellegrini is to blame for this. Also the spafia.

We have bought average players , KdB the exception. Mancini would not have tolerated this shit and The Chairman listened to the wrong people(Spafia). Sure they (spafia) , know how the corrupt Eufa works but so what ? we have three other trophies to go for each year.

To think we let Edin go , Jovetic go and paid a ramsom for Bony,Sterling , Mangala!

What the fuck does Guardiola's opinion have anything to do with this?

The OP is right - Pellers needs to be shown the door, he's clueless and we have regressed under him. The risk of us not finishing in the top 4 is too great and I don't think we will whilst he remains in charge

The owners don't appoint managers on an interim basis. or most importantly knee jerk decisions when they have a replacement lined up in the summer and when there is still something to play for. Whether it is trying to qualify for a top 4 place or still being in a European competition . Wetting the bed or throwing all you toys out of the pram will not bring him to City any quicker.

What was Peller's appointment if it wasn't interim?

I cant see him getting the bullet now. OR maybe the big wigs are happy to sacrifice the season to allow pep rebuilt over a period of time.
But it's hard to see why they continue to accept this, it really is. They should have acted weeks ago.

For me, Navas was our best guy yesterday.

I looked at him and Noticed something that I keep seeing in our play the whole season, so far.

Sorry for the bad quality, I made a screenshot from Youtube: (CLICK ON THE PICTURE)

Image

This is how 90 % of our attacks finish. There is no one who attacks the near post. They either wait where Silva and Sergio are in that picture, or they either go on the far post. Where the question mark is, that was the place of Dzeko/Jovetic/Negredo.

How about the board does give the manager longer than 6 months (or at this stage 2). I have mentioned the knee jerk bit as well. If there wasn't any danger of us not qualifying for the Champions League we had crashed out of this season as well then yes he would be sacked early.

Good point PP.

Also, Navas almost always receives the ball standing still close to the penalty area. He's at his best when he receives the ball running at the defense already. He's almost completely wasted in our lethargic pace of attack but he still manages to be of use to us. I think that's worthy of a prize.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I will answer this, If I may.

No, he can't. Sergio and Bony are stepping on their toes. The play the same position, but they are used different. Bony is used by our staff to play the role of Dzeko/Negredo, which he does not know how. For me, the ivorian had one perfect game this year. With WBA, when Sergio did not play from the start.

Bony tried to be at the end of those crosses yesterday and failed. Because he is poor and because he doesn't know how to act in a situation like that.

That tactic from above won us the title in 2014. Cross from Kolarv/Navas and goal. Everton away, Newcastle away and Palace away were won just like this.

Funny, funny as fuck that we arrived in a moment where we miss Ed.

I should have been clearer mate , I was taking the piss, re Bony, getting at the end of fuckign anything (The useless TIT) Cocacolajojo is a Bony defender and I wanted to highlight the fact. (He might have changed his stance now........eventually the penny drops with some fans)

Bony is actually a good player. But not at our level.

He can be a legend at the likes of Everton, Stoke or Soton. Like Remy.

Briliant at QPR and Newcastle, at tops, Cup games starter at Chelsea.

And I might add, in the summer, for the first time since we had our new owners, we will see a manager have total control over transfers. No intervention from the Spafia or Marwood.

Pep will decide who comes and who goes. That I want to see.

I am saying this, because someday I would want to see who decided we should sign Sincair, Bony, Sterling, etc.
