I hadn't paid too much attention to these rumours with the one article saying we'd pay Messi £800K per week (chortles) and the Pep rumour just a regurgitation of previous ones but....

Talkshite and others reporting that Pep has pulled out of Bayern's presser ahead of their game tomorrow on "personal grounds" leaving Jerome Boateng to field questions. Seems a bit odd to me, so perhaps there is more to this than it seams, unless anyone else knows if it's common to pull out of a presser?

Isn't that what forums like this are for? Or are we all supposed to agree mate? No one is getting on Pellers back at the ground, so surely a forum like this is perfect for giving honest opinions?

Yeah, he's a fucking stubborn, useless, clueless, old, Chilean cunt that would be lucky if Stockport employed him.

I read more abuse on City forums of our players, managers, directors etc than you're ever likely to hear from rival fans of any club.

Da-víd Mo-yes. Not totally implausible considering our Spanish connections.

Pep would be great for our new EDS coach and Messi could help us out when Silva is injured. More depth is always welcome

Bollocks. Messi is only a squad player. Can't see him making first 11 all that often, league cup possibly.

Messi would require a MASSIVE monetary outlay that, for a 28 yr old, probably isn't worth it....even if he would instantly generate a massive amount of money for the club through commercial deals and kit sales.

Might not make sense commercially in some areas. But FUCK ME. It's the best player to have ever played the game coming to play for us with a few years left in the tank.

Messi is not coming. Another rumour to get him a better contract.

Pep is another story, and would make me happy even though I back Pellegrini, generally speaking.

I think consistent motivation of our players is an issue at times, although our injury problems are also not going to help any manager, and I am sure he feels, but cannot say this aloud.
