City's game against Sunderland in the Capital One Cup will take place on Tuesday 22 September, kick-off 7.45pm.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for supporters aged under 16 and over 65.

City have received an allocation of 4500 tickets, further details and selling criteria will follow in due course.

The Blues will travel to the Stadium of Light for a place in the last 16 after the Black Cats saw off the challenge of Exeter City 6-3.

City ended a 38-year wait to win the League Cup in 2014 against the same opposition and this competition represents the quickest route to silverware with the final pencilled in for 28 February next year.
