The one who should have made it here imo.
No reason for him not to be as good as our other cbs, apart from in his head.
Good luck to him anyhow; there is still time for him to come through.

Couldn't agree more. I'd be very happy for him to get his head sorted and come back.

Maybe I'm looking at it from the wrong angle but it's slightly worrying how well dedryck looks for Celtic. Sort of hints that Denayer may be pretty average too, as he was outstanding up there.

I think I put the kiss of death on Boyata at the start of that Arsenal game.
Guy next to me said "I'm a bit worried playing Dedryck in this"
I of course replied "Well, he's done nothing wrong so far".
Five minutes later.

Strangely enough, I still wouldn't be surprised if DeMichelis was still in with a shout of playing in most games next season, especially if Kompany's form continues to be a concern.
Welcome back Mikhail.

Did they? From what I can recall there were calls to give him a chance, we did, he wasn't good enough, at least we took a look at senior level first though eh? And the club didn't go to rack and ruin in the process, so where's the harm?

I always want to see young players getting a game or two - how the heck are we going to discover the next gem if we don't play them occasionally?
