Negredo can go for me. Not massively bothered about Falcao but it might be nice,.great fun to wind rags up with. If he did come, who would be left out of CL squad to fit him in? Navas for me.

Where does he fit in with the team anyway?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see him come our way, but how will we fit him in?

In the front two.

He's not coming anyway. He'll end up at Real.

Tiempo del juego say Negredo's agent is in Madrid negotiating personal terms with Valencia for a permanent transfer. If true a fee with City must have been agreed. Separately TMW Italy just claimed Falcao has told his team mates he's signing for City on Monday; permanent transfer. I believe the first; there's been too much talk of a Negredo transfer to Valencia for it to be all bullshit. The second story would have seemed incredible just a few days ago. It's only possible if Real passed up the opportunity which they are briefing they have. Any denials from Real or City should be taken with a large pinch of salt. If either is interested in such a massive deal they have a strong interest in denying it. Equally Jorge Mendez is adept at spinning the media so who knows? A much more interesting end to the window could be beckoning and it helps take the mind off such a shitty performance and result today.

BeIn sport's Richard Keyes just announced "unconfirmed" reports that Falcao is coming to us for 40 mil Euros ? The move to Real was just a loan and that's why it broke down. Apparently Monaco need cash !

Didn't they change the tax laws on them a few months ago and it fucked Monacos finances right up?

Interesting. We may have been waiting for them to crack.

They asked the Count about incomings & instead of the answer 'none' he started going on about ffp & 48 hours & difficult to get important players in. He has mentioned the last day for weeks.

So when the question was asked, we were interested in signing somebody. No two ways about it. If it's not Falcao then who else would it be ? At the same time, the Negredo stories persist.

Something is going on re incoming whether it's Falcao or not.

City need the cash from a Negredo sale in order to make it work. If Valencia want a loan they won't get one. Then City need to persuade Mendez to agree the deal. It seems Monaco would get 40 million guaranteed from us for a permanent deal. That beats the Real offer because they wanted the loan plus option deal which is not guaranteed from Monaco's point of view.

Radio Monte Carlo say City want to be sure that Falcao's knee's ok. Isn't that what a medical's for? Mendez is doing all the spinning to the press/twittersphere. Juve are offering a loan perhaps Valencia might too. Only City seem up for a permanent transfer. Cracking stuff. Sky Italia are all over this why isn't Sky here? Of course nothing may come of it; there are lots of moving parts but it's potentially the biggest story of the end of the transfer window.

The Beast seemingly very keen to leave and if he does we will get Falcao according to Balague who is always right. Bal did say that the Best going to Valencia is not a done deal tho.
Real M taking Hernandez from Utd on a year long loan is a done deal and Real M don't want Falcao.

Bollockegue says Real signing little pea, have never been in for Falcao, were interested in Negredo but fitness is the problem. Negredo willing to take a pay cut to sign for Valencia.

If that goes through, City will sign Falcao.
