we are usually rudderless without at least one of silva, nasri or yaya. maybe fernandinho will play a more advanced role?

I agree, and see Demi playing in midfield to cover the back four - he looked ok there for a few mins against West Ham.

So Silva also FFS we take real beating at Newcastle . So Milner, Navas , Garcia, Ferna .Hope we do not risk Aguero if he need few more days .But congrats to players for last 9 games big pressure , injury , a bit negative away form and they come on top .

We should win Blackburn with some players resting for league game .This next month one or two clubs will make some distance from pack.

In effect, we 'pulled away' in the runup to Christmas.

It's just that we were starting from five places behind. ;)

If we had won those early away games, we would now be well clear. We have played almost every top club at home though, so we now have to take points off most of them away from home if we are to be champions.

Hope we can get a few goals tonight & get Lopes involved. If Blackburn defend as well as they did in the first leg, it won't be easy, but our pitch is big & flat & makes that kind of defending a lot harder to achieve.

with the character we showed last sunday, despite getting a good kicking, this squad should be good enough to get positive results away at the the other 'top' teams. Of all the away games left everton away could well be the toughest, and we have more than enough to get something there.

Arsenal have some hard games and Liverpool don't have enough players ,maybe i m wrong but i think it will be at list some gap in next month 5 6 points .I hope we will be at top , we just need to play better away .Still have problems but we taking points now.

Yap that Cardiff game and Aston Vila and point against Chelsea that is 7 points we almost give away by mistake and crap defense.
