welcome, City really loves it's Argentinian players (and former players) - have you got any hidden stars over there, just waiting to be discovered?

Honestly, are any of the other top flight leagues competitive? Bundesliga is close but still really only has 2 teams. Spain has 2 teams. Italy has 3. Portugal has maybe 2. France has 1 maybe 2 (or 3 depending on this Monaco project). Whereas England now has at least 3 teams battling it out for the title next season, maybe 4.

I think year on year you are right, but it's how often it changes. Spain has been the big two as long as I remember, but England, Germany etc have has teams win the league you wouldn't have expected 5 years prior.

That's a name I'll have to watch out for then. I still don't know very much about Pellegrini but he seems like a nice enough person. Here's hoping for some enteraining football.

Serie A was in decline due to the match fixing and once any league loses their main protaganists then it's obvious there's going to be problems. However, as we've seen with the reemergence of Juve back to the top, the new TV deals with the CL and the raft of quality players now going in and out of the league, I'd say that the demise has finished and they will build themselves back up to where they once were, if not better.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".
