Yap that is a joke meanwhile French National team score by hands, PSG from dead raise buying out best players of giants like AC spending millions .Monaco from second league buying players with plan to win CL, rest of clubs first try to stay in one .It s going to be one of most paid league French ,just wait and see.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Yes they can just take the hit, remember though that player purchase costs are spread over their contracts not taken off in just the one year so a one off spend isn't as big as it sounds. The alternative of just not investing may be even less desirable for many owners.

Monaco must have plans to increase their stadiums capacity. They must also have plans to bring in money through advertisements and sponsors, otherwise they are quite blatantly not trying to comply with FFP.

Isn't next season the start of the consequences as well! It could get interesting the closer it gets. I can see a few clubs challenging it.

have you been to monaco? have you seen their stadium?

i can see them charging (or at least claiming to charge) €500 per seat though which on crowds of 10,000 would give them a match day income on a par with other leading clubs

Reading Samuel's Platini interview, if you asked him what UEFA would do about that, he doesn't know. But he thinks he knows a man who does..

No is the answer to your question, but I'm aware of the wealth in the province.

I will be interested to see what happens when a team isn't even attempting to follow these FFP guidelines.

is the Tinkerman staying at the helm of Monaco?

i don't have any issues with Monaco buying fantastic players at outrageous prices. Fuck FFP. It's bollox and i wish we'd fuck it off as well. it'll never hold up in any court i don't believe.

Smart investments like the Sheikh is making with City and others will make is a fantastic thing for communities, clubs and fans. Limiting it is unfashionably stasi like. And it would figure to be the ultimate irony that both the Russian and Middle Eastern money, given those societies, are being cock blocked by the likes of the French and English and ze Germans.

The FFP will be totally moot anyway in a couple of years when the European economy breaks down completely, followed by a new great depression and likely the 4th world war. What kind of football that will rise from the ashes of that remains to be seen.
