That being said, I think it's a little bit less than honest to say that there weren't any fans saying some less than savory things to him. Ahh, that's more like it. It wasn't just a few asking him to 'Get stuck in', it was a couple of hundred giving it large. I don't condone it but if you're gonna give it, you've gotta be prepared for some back.

What exactly do you love about him? That he scores from one or two free kicks a season? He is fucking dogshit and one of the worst full backs I have seen at City. He lacks pace, is constantly out of position, gets beaten too easily by wingers, can't beat a full back, doesn't prevent crosses going into the box and is generally just shit. Can't defend and can't really attack

Several people claiming that Kolarov had every right to give shit to the fans because he was receiving it from them. However, the only witness to events to come forward so far says some fans

It isn't shit slinging we do it every single time he plays its asking him to do his job properly and to stop strolling round the pitch get dicked week in week out.

There was one point not long before the booing where the ball bounced off one of their players right in front of him and he was either asleep or wearing cement boots, because he froze on the spot and let them get it back.

In response to earlier replies, I've been watching for over 30 years and every other left back would at least try to tackle rather than back off. Even Steven Jordan!

Ben Thatcher would have tried to elbow him rather than make the tackle. Tiatto would have tried to boot him in to the stands than make the tackle. Jensen would have let him go passed him. Tony Vaughn would have tripped over his own feet thinking about how wonderful the rags are and how he couldn't wait to get home and put his rag shirt on. Garrido wouldn't have closed him down and would most likely still be up the pitch wondering whether to bother running back. Wayne Bridge would have backed off until the last minute, dived in and the guy would have skipped passed him.

Kolarov isn't the best, but please don't forget we've had some very very bad left-backs over the years.

What about the Academy 'graduate' with the fringe who never played for us again after an absolutely wretched game against Blackburn?
