POST READING MATCH

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Reading were trash. City are the same old team that lacks the killer instinct in the final third. Ok fair enough if my owners think Mancini reach his ceiling but come off it you guys thinking that today was some big turn around.

As we are now secure in second shouldn't we ditch half that side tonight and stick some kids in from the start with a load more on the bench? Not an entire team, but surely the likes of Razak & Saurez should be given a run out?

I agree with that, although, I wouldn't want wholesale changes due to the fact I'm taking my stepson for his first match in ages. Plus my two little fellas' are going also, they want to see the so called "stars"

A lot of disappointed people on here because we played well.

Of course, had we been playing a well organised counter attacking side like Dortmund, or the rags, we would have been hammered, but we weren't playing those, we were playing Reading, who were utter shite. Our finishing was also gash, as well as our defending of set pieces.

Doesn't change the fact that City played with a fluency & at times inspiration which has been missing for much of this season, & if some of you fuckers weren't so utterly stuck up Mancini's fucking arse, you would be pleased to see the same group of players have not lost it, & gain some hope for next season, rather than worrying that it could show your lord and master in a bad light.

It wasn't the end product, but it was very encouraging: you agenda ridden cunts.

I thought City were excellent. If it was not for McCarthy in the Reading goal would have been 6 or 7. Massive difference versus Wembley. Kidd was superb on the touch line so I hope he stays and is given a role maybe again as assistant and for the time being not a bad interim manager.

agreed, a lot of shite spouted on here, as you say agenda driven.
Goalkeeper made some class saves, some just good ones and some bloody lucky ones... a lot of saves though. Another day would have been 6 easy. Reading did put some half decent last ditch blocks in too. They were shite in general though its true.

Carl is right for once, there was a big difference, especially in body language and individual play, if you couldn't see it you need to give up.

Lets see what happens in the final game in terms of performance and revisit this - as I seriously doubt it is going to go away.

Did I miss something? I didn't see that much of a change, from the FA Cup Final yes, but not from a lot of our matches this season, we dominated, had Hart to thank for some decent saves, but ultimately failed on too many occasions to put the game to bed. The first goal was as well constructed as the first against West Ham so more of a similarity than a difference. However, we didn't go to 3 at the back so that was one difference

I thought we played similar to what we've played all season.

Oh wait, what's this 'Agenda Ridden Cunts' you talk of?

You're a total and utter arse mate. You proclaimed you weren't a Mancini outer yet you now come out with that. I won't call you names, I won't call you a fuckwit who knows all there is to know about football, I won't even say you are lost in your own delusion. What I will say though is that you are a City fan and entitled to your opinion.

Well done.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

A 6-0 tonight is a clear sign. Winning 2-0 against a piss poor side who have longs since been relegated means nothing.
