Tueart on the left. Don't care who makes way, he'd be perfect.

Peter Beardsley instead of Nasri. Paul Simpson instead of Sinclair. Ian Brightwell not instead of but In case Zabba gets injured.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

The criteria of this thread is for players who never won anything for/with City so, unfortunately, that rules out Mike Doyle and Big Joe.....which is sad, I know.

For me, Brian Kidd to replace Dzeko, Steve McKenzie to replace Nasri and possibly Mick McCarthy to replace Lescott would be worthwhile.

Oooops. Well spotted ADVT.....I lazily slipped into the plural format.

Many thanks for the correction, old chum.

I thought the criteria was that they hadn't won anything with City?

The Goat and Ali B won something.

I meant something meaningful - a cup or a top division title. Getting promoted doesn't count. Even if I have got a photo of the trophy being lifted on my wall.

Tommy Caton was one of my favourite players when I started following City. Was gutted when he was sold to arsenal. Would have been interesting to see how he would have looked if he broke through to this squad at the age that he made his breakthrough.

Do you honestly think MVF was a better player than Gareth Barry? Honestly?

If we are going down that route a young Peter Reid would do no harm

Same as per previous thread: Kinky linking with Dave would have worked wonders.

Also having the Goat and Kiddo as impact bench warmers would have probably solved some problems this season.

Nice thread though: it allowed some very funny statements of misplaced affection.... :-)

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Paul Lake in any postion.

Kevin Horlock would probably do Barry's job when Baz needs a rest.

Andy Hinchcliffe for Kolarov.
