He got him with full force with both legs hitting the lad's leg. No need to hit him like that at all, could have directed it at the ball rather than into the player. Wouldn't surprise me if he's broken or twisted something bad.

I would, hence the 'unfortunately'. But if he then got a red card, it would be understandable. We've already lost players for what most of us would think was a good tackle. However, according to the rules, it's illegal.

Whether or not they should be is a different matter, but to the current rules, that was a card and probably a red.

A red card, which it should have been as far as I am concerned, doesn't help young Ryo one way or the other. I hope it is not serious.
