I really don't get worried these days, just turn up, enjoy the football, cheer the goals and take the points home with me. Everton will give it their best but they are just not good enough to beat us.

I wonder how true this is? Brilliant if you can manage to be relaxed like this but for me there are just some games which bring on the nerves and even negative feelings.

There are the games like Wigan where I think we will beat them, easily or not is irrelevant. There will be the occasional slip up in such games but on the whole I just have high expectations. Then there are the games against the top few who are title contenders.Arguably only the scum but realistically Chelsea as well and I would stretch it to the Arse and Spurs as teams who can give us a really good game and beat us if they are on it and we are not.

And then there is Everton! Whilst they have played some decent stuff this season they are still a scrapping side for me.They will be out for a battle today and may again go for a man marker on Silva.I agree with John we will edge the battle and win but I do worry about this one.Great if Baines doesn't play and also great that Cahill is no longer around.

I love when an English Tutor can turn my exact thoughts in A+ language... ;)
That's exactly, Sir.
Having understood that Sir John will be attending at the ground has relaxed me quite much, though.
His positive vibes have notoriously proved much influential... ;)

very good. including some respect for the Klingon vs. his former club
4-2-3-1 with Dzeko upfront, much needed considering the qualities of the opposition.
Just hope Maicon will be arsed on tracking back and keep focus inside his box.

ps @ Carl dont be sad, General. Your Nasti will be back on CL

Good to see Lescott getting a start he should be fresh. His aerial ability will be a big bonus against that long streak Fellaini who could pose a bit of a threat in the air.

Is Nastasic injured not even on the bench today after a run of good performances?

Respect for the Toure family, I'd bet.
same as previous games, but different starter.

Lescott coming in ahead of Nasty is a fucking joke imo , we have been solid with him in the side and havnt lost.

Ted - if that fucking cunt fucks up today like he has done most of the games hes played in then you wont hear the last of it !

Thats true actually good shout.I believe Mancini is trying to persuade them both(really just Yaya) to stick around rather than travel to African cup so he needs to keep them sweet.

Its a fuckign stupid move , everyone harps on about having a settled back line and we were there or thereabouts with Vinny showing his real form alongside the guy who will be playing for us for years...meanwhile Lescott wont even make next seasons squad imo.

Nasty must be injured.

Dunno.
I like Nasti and agree with You to some extent, on him fastly becoming 1st choice.
But a Side like City, need to have more than XI Starters who feel themself fully involved into the gear - and HAPPY.
It's a fucking sickening Primadonnas deal, I concede, but that's how big Shows are run.... You know better than me.

Also, as wisely noted above, JL provides very good aerial support against a side that we know how play. That's also why I feel that starting Dzeko as main striker is the right choice for the game, as it should have been @ Stoke.

Nasti will start in Dortmund and 4 days later against the red shite.

also Lescott will be hardly much motivated than now and now versus his former club
